God he’d want to study tanjiro so much but probably would have to do it through only observation as tanjiro may be versatile he isn’t very stable in his feral form. But he’d probably be impressed by tanjiros ability’s but would definitely look into ways to take him out if he gets to be stronger than the demon king. But either way tanjiro is a worthy successor if only he wasn’t so kind in his base form and shared gyutaros weakness of his family holding him back.
Honestly shinobu having to change her plan of using her poisoned body on douma to tanjiro due to how powerful he’s become would probably annoy her. He’d probably regard their whole fight with suspicion due to his nose picking up her poisoned body but not knowing where the poison was until one of his siblings is about to take a bite from her when she’s dead
And unaware to Muzan, this is the effect of a human eating a Blue Spider Lily in the past and then being turned by his blood. And while he may hate what he views to be a weakness, at least Muzan can recognise that the boy’s presence resulted in Gyutaro taking a step closer to his full potential and now Daki actually has the power to be useful, despite still being a brat in his eyes.

Also, if a Hashira survived an encounter with the Shabana trio somehow and reports back to the Corps, how do you think they would react to these 3 siblings and Demon Tanjiro having a 2nd personality that is apparently Upper moon 4? And which Hashira do you think is the most likely to survive that encounter?
Before either sibling takes a bite of shinobu tanjiro probably says something to the effect of he’s still smells a strong poison around her body maybe it would be better if a different demon took a bite before they consumed her. A demon like douma perhaps.
Mitsuri would survive probably but only because tanjiro wasn’t completely in his feral form and he’s nice and she’s nice they’d probably have Akaza and rengoku type talk as they fight. Gyomei would also survive as well probably. And if rengoku wasn’t killed by Akaza via becoming a donut I think he’d also survive. The corps would have to work very strategically so they don’t trigger tanjiros feral form

That’s true. And now I’m just imagining Tanjiro and Mitsuri accidentally meeting in a town and becoming friends without realising they are enemies. So when the Love Hashira see Demon Tanjiro out on a hunt, she is convinced that he was recently turned. But yeah, unless it’s a group of Hashira, Gyomei’s probably the only Hashira that would survive the trio because of his power and range with his weapons. Especially since no one has access to the Mark without Tanjiro on their side.
Oh god, I just thought of this! But imagine if Nezuko did somehow survive in this AU (as a human) and she found her brother in the Entertainment District while she’s a Slayer due to running into Giyu, both in a human and Demon Tanjiro scenario! Imagine how that would go.
If it was a human tanjiro, Nezuko ran into there would be a lot of crying on both ends especially if Nezuko was chosen for the stealth Mission inside the house. And as tengen is ‘selling’ Nezuko to the house tanjiro would possibly be passing by as he does his chores or chatting to a lady of the house that he’s well acquainted with before the siblings look at each other and just freeze not knowing what to do. But not too long they would run to each other and just started crying and trying to figure out why the other was there through their tears. As I would guess tanjiro would go straight to the station the moment he found his dead family and buried them. Nezuko could have been out on her own journey to sell coal at a different village and returned just as tanjiros train left for the entertainment district and giyu was examining the house.
Demon tanjiro would be a different story because as much as he feels like he knows the girl in front of him nothing in his memory is able to put the pieces together. Especially in a fight. Nezuko would be shocked to see that her big brother has become a demon and clearly doesn’t remember her. Throughout the fight she would be trying desperately to talk to him. Gyutaros deal of becoming a demon would be told to this Nezuko. “Don’t you want to join your brother in becoming a demon?, me and my little sister won’t hurt you anymore because you’ll be family?” Daki is protesting as she does in the canon but her protesting is probably more about wanting to be just being tanjiros only sister. Nezuko would probably be allowed to run as she didn’t activate tanjiros feral state.
God, both of those scenarios would be such a horrible emotional blow to the gut. Especially since the siblings would realise that they had been separated for over 2 years because they missed each other by a few hours. Also, can you just imagine how tense things would be if this AU was the anime, with Tanjiro excitedly introducing his baby sister to Daki while his blood sibling and the Oiran who he also views as a sister realise that the other is their enemy.
Meanwhile, because Tanjiro’s a young Demon, he is just beyond confused on why this sword girl is mad at his siblings and is acting odd around him. And now I have the mental image of him hugging one of the Upper 6 siblings for attention and comfort during the encounter with Nezuko and she sees this. That may honestly hit harder than a headbutt from Demon Tanjiro. And of god, imagine the horror Nezuko would feel realising that her during that big fight, her big brother was turned into a Demon only a few days ago!
Both sisters would keep up the pleasantries while tanjiro was introducing them to each other and explaining to Nezuko how he’s been living life in the entertainment district and how nice daki is for pulling strings for him to work there. Before asking her what she’s been up to and Nezuko having to lie on the spot because honestly how would she explain being a demon slayer to her brother that doesn’t even believe in demons and a demon that is loyal to Muzan. Daki would be so delighted with each part of Nezukos story that doesn’t add up, and would poke holes to rile up the female demon slayer.
Demon tanjiro would probably be cuddled up to daki as gyutaro does all the work in the fight.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. And Nezuko is especially keeping the fact that she was sold into the house a secret, despite it being for her mission and is thankful that her Slayer training has given her the ability to trick her brother’s sense of smell. Though admittedly, the mental image of Tanjiro headbutting Tengen would be glorious to her for how he acted. And now I just realised that Nezuko may be wearing the horrible makeup and because of it, there is this awkward, but heated moment where Tanjiro leaves her alone with Daki so he can get some things to remove the horribly applied makeup and the 2 sisters can openly confront each other for a bit.
Yeah, I can feel the impact of the emotional gut punch that image would give Nezuko and the cold blooded fury at seeing her older brother in such a mentally regressed state. Though, at least Demon Tanjiro probably never hurt Nezuko, but the others… yeah, they are sadly free game.
By the way, how do you think the Upper 6 siblings would initially react to Slayer Nezuko and her being Tanjiro’s younger blood sister?
Conflicted because on one hand honestly tanjiro deserves some good news in his life especially after all that’s happened to him to get him to his current point. Gyutaro would probably be the most understanding about the situation as his now little brother thought every member of his family was dead but it turns out his little sister survived. If it would make tanjiro happy he’d probably turn Nezuko into a demon as well even if his own sister protested. Daki on the other hand would hate her because she’s Tanjiros sister now not this slayer. She does consider Nezuko very pretty (without the terrible makeup, tengen you have 3 wives how are you bad at makeup?) and would probably capture her to eat. Just so tanjiro doesn’t leave his new family of her and gyutaro to go out into the world with his slayer sister.
Yeah, that would honestly make a lot of sense. Especially Daki since we do know she's quite spoiled and clingy, which is just further enhanced by being a Demon as well. And I can only imagine the thinly veiled jabs Daki would be throwing at Nezuko because of Tengen's horrible makeup when she and the Kamado are interacting. Actually, can you imagine how horrified Nezuko would be upon realising that the old friend her parents had talked to her about in the past was a Demon?
Yeah a lot of backhanded comments would be thrown at nezuko by daki just so Tanjiro wouldn’t pick up on it. Probably when a lady of the house comes to get nezuko and daki and Tanjiro are alone, daki probably says to him to not mention her brother to his sister just for the time being with the excuse of gyutaro not being good around people. This is just so the demons still have their trump card of the 2 heads to cut, without nezuko knowing.
Honestly she would be horrified that her parents helped a demon to the point of being friends with one. The only good thing from that friendship is that Tanjiro and technically her if Giyu never showed up would had a place to stay.
Kind of funny to think Tanjiro is so oblivious to everything happening around him and admittedly, I'm kind of curious how these two are going to hide the final battle of that arc from Tanjiro. Actually... it probably involves Daki absorbing Tanjiro into one of her Sashes and then there is this element of effectively rescuing the eldest Kamado during the fight. But yeah, that would be an easy to use lie considering how Tanjiro knows it's true based on how Gyutaro was treated for his appearance.
That makes a lot of sense. But can you imagine the reactions of everyone else in the Corps when they learn that Nezuko's family was unknowingly friends with Upper moon 6 and her brother was somehow viewed as a little sibling by the Demon pair?
The corps wouldn’t know what to do as they can’t really put nezuko on trial for being from a family of demon lovers especially if the family was completely unaware of the true nature of their family friend. But yeah it would be difficult for the corps to rescue Tanjiro as he would be in part of the obi that’s around dakis waist as she’s not gonna be giving up her new little brother that easily. Just a horrific thought what if daki and gyutaro turned Tanjiro in front of team uzui as they died. They failed their mission and muzan gained another demon in one night.
Yeah, I oddly see Obanai sympathising with the Kamados. Both of their families had a close connection with a Demon long before any of them were born, but at least their family never knew Daki was a Demon compared to his, who were literally preparing him to get eaten by that snake Demon and literally slit open his mouth. And that would honestly be a new challenge, because who knows what will happen to Tanjiro if the Obi Sash was damaged. And by god that would be horrific! Actually... now I'm just imagining that this creates good Demon Tanjiro since Daki and Gyutaro aren't around to influence him, so the eldest Kamado cures everyone of Gyutaro's poison and just leads to some interesting reactions. Because Tengen would be faced with the fact that his life was saved by a new born Demon who seems to be beyond confused about... well, everything if we are being honest.
Obanai probably takes nezuko under his wing a bit when he sees how similar their situations were.
Yeah I can just imagine either inosuke or zenitsu inadvertently killing Tanjiro when when fighting daki by cutting her sash which just fuels her rage. Because how dare these worthless ugly humans even try and fight her and how dare they hurt her little brother.
Not gonna lie even if Tanjiro is a good demon Uzui would probably try to kill Tanjiro because even if he didn’t sanemi will when they get back to the corps.
Which would be interesting to see. Well, if Nezuko isn't in the coma that canon Tanjiro was during the next 2 months, it seems she will be getting quite the boost to her sword skills.

And for this version of the trial... now I'm just imagining Demon Tanjiro not responding to Sanemi's Marechi blood because he's entering that 2 year long slumber his sister did in canon. That, or it succeeds in making him drunk, but he still doesn't attack.
Actually, if Tanjiro remained a human after that battle, do you think he would be told the truth about what Daki and Gyutaro actually are?
I think he would and it would be so painful for him to hear, he’d probably do his best deny it but he remembers the horror stories about daki when working at the house from the other girls. But also remembers how kind she and gyutaro was to him so he’d probably be a demon sympathiser like not for their horrible actions but for their life that made becoming a demon so tempting for them. I’d like to think he’d still do a small and private funeral service for them, just so that the humans that they once were can still have a proper send off.
Makes sense. I can see Nezuko mentally debating about it but decides that her older brother has every right to know given his connection with the two. But I’m sure Nezuko would follow him to that small funeral since, even if she isn’t as kind as canon Tanjiro, the younger sibling is still a Kamado, a family who I am convinced has kindness literally built into their genetics, and showed kindness to Demons upon their deaths, even Daki and Gyutaro despite her initial reluctance.

It would be worse if demon tanjiro was cuddling into either daki or gyutaro as she says this making the salt being rubbed into the wound so much worse. Coz like Nezuko had been reunited with her older brother only a few days ago and now he was a demon, I think she would be thrown off her game for a moment causing one of dakis obis to get behind Nezuko and attack her.
Okay, those designs, including your prototype Demon Tanjiro one all look amazing! Though, I would like to suggest that in the “Taken in by Tengen” path, the Sound Hashira probably has Tanjiro pick up a little bit of his clothing style as he influences the kid to get better from his 2 loses and as a gift into this 3rd family. Like maybe a Shinobi headband that the retired Slayer usually wears, and while Tanjiro doesn’t wear it when helping at the butterfly estate, it is now apart of his casual clothing or keeps it in a pocket.
That would really throw somebody off their game, especially when it involves a sibling that you loved and had been convinced was dead for the last 2 years. Meanwhile, Demon Tanjiro is just uncomfortable because while he doesn’t know this girl, seeing her get attacked is bothering him just as much as it would if Gyutaro or Daki was in her position.
Oh definitely any child of tengen adopted or not will be influenced by the flashiness of their dad no matter what. And while tanjiro will never wear anything as flashy as his new dad on the odd occasion he does wear a bit of jewellery like his dad.
Yeah especially if he’s having feelings like he knows the girl being attacked, daki might wrap some of her obi over her new brothers eyes so he doesn’t have to watch. Or she might use her obi to place him into the cavern under the house to wait out the battle.
That's true. Escaping Tengen when he's attempting to make you flashy is as impossible as escaping Tanjiro when he's making the effort to be your friend. It is literally impossible, even if you somehow mitigate it.
Yeah, that makes sense and Demon Tanjiro would definitely be babied by Daki and Gyutaro, especially when his mind is still developing as a Demon. And now if that path was the canon anime, I just imagine an episode ending from Demon Tanjiro's perspective as Daki absorbs him into her Obi Sash and as his hearing and sight begin to grow weaker, you can faintly hear Nezuko's cries of outrage before the episode ends.
Oh I can just imagine the chaos that is the mornings of uzui house when tanjiro isn’t helping out at the butterfly estate that day. Tanjiro does his best to wake up as early as possible just so he can get out of the house for the day before he is forcibly turned flashy for the day. But tengen is always awake before him (old shinobi habit’s probably) and will show up behind tanjiro and will drag him back to his room to make his son flashy.
And oh that would be so heartbreaking for Nezuko as she watches her brother get taken away by the obi. She’d be crying out to him as the demon siblings laugh at her.
That would be hilarious. And now I'm imagining that the first time it happens, Tanjiro accidentally knocks Tengen out cold by slamming the back of his head into the Sound Hashira's face, much to the surprise of Hinatsuru, Makio and Suma and causing Tanjiro to apologise to the unconscious body like crazy. And from that day onward, Tengen always made sure that he restrains his new son and carries him like he did with Aoi at the start of the Entertainment District arc (his nose was broken for a solid week).
Doesn't matter if Tanjiro is human or Demon at that point, it would be heart breaking. And now I'm imagining her rage from that gives Nezuko the accelerated heart rate she needs to awaken her Mark and since she awoke to hers, it causes Tengen to activate his own as well now during the fight. On the bright side, it means that he didn't lose that hand and eye of his from canon.
For that solid week tanjiro is still apologising to his adopted dad and only for that week tanjiro will allow his dad to dress him flashily but after that week, it’s back to resisting. He probably helps a lot around the house and bonds with his three moms. With hina he probably does a lot of cooking with her and keeping the piece. With suma he probably helps look after the mice with her. And with Makio he probably helps her with training by patching up whoever is uzui chosen as his apprentice.
Definitely Nezuko is on a Mission to have her older brother returned to her demon or not.
Meanwhile, news about that event somehow spreads and Inosuke and Sanemi are dying of laughter. But yeah, now I'm just imagining that whenever Tanjiro is being a ray of sunshine, the gems that his adopted dad put on him ended up blinding everyone nearby (actually hurting Kanao's eyes) because they ended up reflecting his purity as actual light at everyone. But overall, that is honestly a really cute dynamic Tanjiro forms with the Uzui family.
On the bright side, Demon Tanjiro is likely young enough to have not eaten anyone yet and is confused on why his brother and sister say it is needed, so if he saves everyone from Gyutaro's poison, he could be spared in that scenario. Either way, that battle is going to be much more intense than it was in canon with that factor, all while the boys (Tengen included) is making a mental note to never piss off Nezuko to this point when the see her somehow tearing Daki's Obi sashes and flesh apart with her bare hands.
The gems blinding people is probably why he doesn’t wear them when he’s helping out the butterfly estate. But any other occasion is free game for tengen to dress up his son.
Yeah either Zenitsu is gonna be more in love with her or absolutely terrified of her. Inosuke is absolutely pumped to to see that side of her. If they were all dying from the poison gyutaro would probably ask her if she wanted to join he brother in becoming a demon because she dying and it’s making his little brother very upset so what’s it gonna be?
True. And the hilarious thing is that no one knows how the flip it works, even Shinobu, and Tanjiro doesn't notice but still picks up on how him somehow wearing the gems causes those around him pain.
Honestly... I'm betting it would be both, because Zenitsu will see how ballistic Nezuko will go at those she cares for being put in such a horrible situation, but will now be very determined not to make her mad (if he didn't already make that vow when he saw the Kamado kick Inosuke in between the legs when the boar head wearing boy tried to fight them) and Inosuke definitely would. And by god would that be a horrible position to be in, because if everyone is poisoned, then becoming a Demon is her only way to be with Tanjiro again but it would betray everything she had done up to that point. Though, on the bright side, the additional time that is used up for Daki, Gyutaro and Nezuko interactions could allow Obanai to arrive on time and help out compared to canon.
That ends up making tengen make the the un flashy choice of giving his son unpolished gems at least until they can figure out why when tanjiro wears the polished gems causes people pain. And who knows maybe they could weaponise it against lower ranking demons. Against tengens wishes

After all, while he may not remember, that is still his baby sister!! And the funny thing is that in canon, Obanai was really cocky and ridiculing of Tengen's state when at that point, the Sound Hashira was probably the 2nd strongest in the line up, had the best toolset to beat the Upper moon 6 siblings (aka his immunity to human poisons) and Obanai admits to be horrible at handling poisons in his system.

Yes it’s truly a shame that tengen decided to care of this boy via demand of 2 demons, and keep everything secret because otherwise tengen would be training tanjiro to use the gems in some very flashy moves. Maybe they would be useful if he could unlock the sun breathing. Tanjiro would probably do his best to calm Zenitsu when he’s injured at the butterfly estate but would be very confused when Zenitsu mentions things like the demon train. Because he knows trains exist but demons don’t. Like in canon he probably still is a pen pals with the ladies of the house.

Also, I do think that this Tanjiro would know of Demons, Tengen would just keep enough information secret for the kid to not put things together because honestly, if there are other Demons who physically transform humans like the Spider Brother (such as shrinking people), you really have no choice but to reveal the existence of Demons when your adopted kid is working at the Butterfly Estate. But yeah, a Demon Train would still be confusing as hell to the poor boy. And yes, Tanjiro would indeed continue being pen pals with the girls of the Kyogoku House like he did with the ones from the house he went to in canon (probably even sent some money their way as well).
Honestly, it is hilarious to think about and I'm wondering how everyone's reacting to it... outside of mortification from Nezuko and laughter from Gyutaro and Daki of course. But yes, Obanai was really overhyping himself at that point, though he really would have soloed Daki and Gyutaro by the time of the Infinity Castle arc... after he got months worth of additional training, experience and participating in the Hashira training arc for power growth of course, something that EDA Obanai obviously lacks.
So sad in this au Tanjiro never got to meet donut boy rengoku. But yes using your kids very shiny gems to annoy your ex co workers is a very tengen thing to do especially since he is retired. He might even use his kids shiny gems in his training for the other demon slayers for the upcoming battles with the rest of the upper moons. And yes he sends some of his allowance to the ladies there.
Poor zenitsu being the main target of a very feral demon Tanjiro. The big brother protection sense is strong
Who knows, perhaps Rengoku may survive. After all, I wouldn't be surprised if Muzan pointed Akaza in the direction of the Mugen Train in canon to kill Tanjiro and without him there, the Upper 3 wouldn't encounter the Flame Hashira. Or without Tanjiro, Muzan may not be amused by the Lower 1 or see a point in keeping him around, resulting in his death, so they could still meet. Though for Tanjiro's sake, lets hope Shinjuro doesn't learn of the boy... and then for Shinjuro's sake that the Uzui family doesn't learn about the drunken man's treatment of their adopted son (Makio alone would probably be more terrifying than pissed off Shinobu in that moment). And yes, that would be perfectly in character for Tengen, all the while Shinobu probably takes Tanjiro away from the rest of the Hashira when Tengen is eventually caught, since they would all quickly catch on that this boy does try to avoid becoming a literal beacon of light (again, they seriously question how that works). And to be honest, those shiny gems with Tanjiro would honestly be a useful tool to help people to learn how to fight when blinded, especially Kanao since her enhanced sense is eyesight, so a Demon able to produce pitch black shadows or bursts of bright light would be annoying for her.
It would honestly be hilarious to watch if I'm being honest. Especially if the pure big brother aura from feral Demon Tanjiro in that moment scares even sleeping Zenitsu enough to run away as fast as possible. But yeah, Nezuko really should make sure to stop her brother from killing her friend.
Also, now I'm just imagining Tanjiro here still instantly befriending Giyu and now I want to know everyone's reactions to it. Especially Tengen and Shinobu.
Yeah shinjuro would become a very sober and sorry man the moment Tanjiro mentions his encounter with the man over dinner or something but that’s only if they ever found out. Shinjuro just wakes up in the middle of the night and just sees 3 angry uzui wives standing in front of him ready to scar that man even more mentally. When tengen is caught he’d probably just claim that he was just doing some father son bonding time with tanjiro.
Shinjuro when he sees the pissed off Uzui wives in the middle of the night, ready to draw on their old torture training as Kunoichi: It was at this moment that he knew... he fucked up.
On the bright side though, the 3 women would probably do the Rengoku siblings a favour and do something so that Shinjuro at least won't yell at or ridicule them at every moment of everyday.
He totally would, and turns to look at his adopted son about to ask for confirmation... only to pale as he sees the silhouettes of Tanjiro and either Giyu or Shinobu walking away in the distance, leaving him at the mercy of some very vengeful Hashira (mainly Obanai, Sanemi, Shinobu if she stays and Muichiro if he remembers).

They put the fear of them into him so that when one of them goes to get Tanjiro from the rengoku estate because he was about to miss dinner or something. He just hides.

Considering what he did to his own kids and how he may have gone as far as to break one of Tanjiro's ribs since the boy lacks Total Concentration Breathing, I say that it is very much deserved. Though, I can imagine the hilarity that would entail if Shinjuro was the most terrified of Suma and everyone but Makio and Hinatsuru being confused by it. Always fear the anger of gentle souls after all.

Then Shinjuro better pray that Tengen taught Tanjiro Total Concentration Breathing for self defence, because if the drunken bastard says something that causes the Kamado to go for a headbutt, the former Hashira would indeed break something with his lack of restraint due to being bitter and drunk. Which… may be an insult to his 2 dead families since an apparent Sun Breathing user could do nothing. Though to be fair, I’m sure Rengoku did leave Senjuro in Tengen’s care at some point… but yeah, he most likely trusts Mitsuri with his little brother much more after what must have happened after that event.
Funnily enough, this may just cause Sanemi to be a little more polite to Giyu since he went out of his way to help someone and the Wind and Serpent Hashira may be kinder to Tanjiro. Sanemi because he can sympathise with his situation and Obanai if Tengen explained the Kamado’s situation to the other Hashira. Would honestly be ironic if those two happened to be one of his closest friends if I’m being honest.
Oh god that would be the only thing that would protect him from tanjiros rage induced head butt. Because how date you speak badly about his former family’s what gives you the right to speak about them in such a way when you don’t even act like you love your 2 sons. Probably during shinjuros insulting he’d probably drop the fact that his second family was a pair of rotten demons. That only took care of him so they could eat him later.
Well Sanemi is the only other hashira that has lost his family aside from obanai, him probably hanging around tanjiro may improve his relationship with genya hopefully.
If that did happen, even though Tanjiro wouldn't believe Daki and Gyutaro were Demons still, then Shinjuro better pray that god has mercy on his soul because the Uzuis will lack mercy for him now. Because while they definitely don't like Daki and Gyutaro, none of them could really deny how clearly loving and honestly caring they were to Tanjiro, especially when the two practically demanded the 4 look after the Kamado with them dead... after cursing them obviously. And when he eventually dies, the former Flame Hashira will be faced with the pissed off Shabana siblings and deceased Kamado family... yeah, that is a fate worse then hell. So yeah, lets hope that Tanjiro gets in that headbutt and cracks the bastard's skull so he has some personal satisfaction.

Yeah when shinjuro finally passes on the after life his first thought would be why do I hear boss music. A lecture by the kamados in one corner and a beating from the shabana siblings in the other. But yeah you say one bad thing about tanjiros former families and you are immediately on the uzui family shit list.
Yeah obanai loves to watch Sanemi and tanjiro go at each other like this it’s free entertainment. I also think tanjiro would give obanai pointers on what girls actually liked for courting mitsuri, as the boy was around a lot of women during his time with the shabanas.
It would be hilarious if he was hearing DOOM music specifically when Kie decides that the lecture is over and it is time to unleash a storm of headbutts. But yeah, Shinjuro instantly joined the shit list of 3 families, one of which consists of literally the nicest people in that universe.
So overall, Tanjiro is practically a goldmine in more ways than one for Obanai. Good thing the Kamado probably destroyed the Hashira's thinking that he needs to die before being worthy of someone like the Love Hashira, since being honest, I can only imagine how adorable the children of Obanai and Mitsuri would be. All while Kaburamaru is happy that his hatchling has hatchlings of his own now, making the snake a grandpa. Nobody shall mess with his grandbabies!!
Probably in the afterlife long before shinjuros death kie and Tanjuro would be teaching the shabanas how to do the perfect headbutt for when shinjuro does finally pass on. Because they are part of the family now no matter how the siblings try and deny it and the parental affection the two parent kamados give them.
Yes obanai and mitsuri would have the most adorable babies ever, tanjiro would probably be the god father if anything happens to obanai or mitsuri. Or he’d be the kids uncle figure just because of how good he is with kids, including his uzui siblings as soon as they are made.
I can only imagine how that went, but it would be absolutely perfect and hilarious. Meanwhile, Daki and Gyutaro return the favour by teaching the Kamados how to hit someone hard and make the pain last for quite a while. Oh god, imagine when Nezuko gets her turn and the Shabana siblings told her to aim in between the legs with her kicks. All while the Shinigami is taking notes, wondering if this punishment is too harsh to be used in hell or not.
Now I'm just imagining Tanjiro would end up opening an orphanage branch in the Corps that Slayers can bring survivors of Demon attacks to, making Tanjiro the official mom figure to everyone in the Corps in the following generations. Now I'm just imagining a Demon about to attack an oblivious Tanjiro, only for dread to take over, look over their shoulder and see about 50 people stare at the Demon as if they became the avatars of death itself. And some of them happen to be Hashira.
Ruka would probably be watching her husband get beaten up by the two families as she waits for them to finish. I thinks that the shinigami would allow the shabanas to be allowed to reincarnate into the Kamado clan once they’ve allowed to be reborn and have repented for their misgivings as demons. He’ll probably allow them to be reborn around the same time tanjiro does.
I’m just imagining a 40 year old tanjiro doing a little bit of last minute chores before heading home into the orphanage for the night as a demon stalks him ready to make him their next meal. The demon then feels a tap on his shoulder and it’s a big group of demon slayers with a few hashira mixed in ready to end the demon for even thinking about going near their mother figure
Yeah, even if Shinjuro improves here like he did in canon, he has done enough crap for his wife to agree that everything currently happening to the former Hashira is very deserved. And honestly, imagining Tanjiro and the Shabana siblings reincarnating as actual blood siblings is really nice, even more so if they end up being a pair of triplets (reincarnated Tanjiro is the youngest for sure). And because of it, Daki and Gyutaro can also spend a good life with the other Kamados as well.
And in that moment, even though none of them look like Yoriichi, that Demon gained the memories of its master during the encounter with the legendary Slayer because of how terrified it would be. Would be even funnier if it was a member of the Twelve Kizuki as well if I'm being honest. Meanwhile, Tanjiro is oblivious and if he smells blood on one of his children figures, it would be because he thinks they got injured instead of a result of whatever hell they put that Demon through.
Yeah I can just imagine the birth process where the triplets are being born gyutaro comes out as his deformed and ‘ugly’ self, then comes daki as her very pretty self and then tanjiro who is average. I can just imagine the joke arguing between the trio over the minutes apart they were born, this is mostly between daki and gyu. Also since in the manga tanjiros descendant sleeps in a lot I can just imagine gyu yanking his brother out of bed each morning so he isn’t late for school.
Honestly it could be either kaigaku or Hantengu that gets the life beating of a century by the tanjiros kids. He probably thinks that they either got too into training with each other or it was a very strong group of lower rank demons they went up against. He’d probably bring them into the orphanage for the night to patch them up and give them a hot meal.
That's true. On the bright side though, the Kamado family wouldn't give a crap about beauty standards and so, outside of an initial surprise about the triplets' vastly different appearences, Gyutaro will be treated with just as much love and kindness as his younger siblings, outside of maybe one or two cousins that are jerks. Also, now I'm just imagining Tanjiro's reincarnation being confused as the eldest by a lot of people just on the account that he usually holds back Gyutaro and Daki whenever they get upset and are about to get into a fight. Also, those morning moments sound absolutely hilarious, especially if their time as Demons cause the reincarnated Shabanas to be nocturnal in this new life and yet they are still somehow awake before their youngest brother (he usually sleeps through mornings because of how much he needs to stop them from getting into fights or trouble in general).
I want it to be Kaigaku because I want him to suffer for being a piece of shit. Also, that image would be beyond adorable if I'm being entirely honest.
Also, I just realised, but I don't think we actually though about what Kaigaku's reaction would be to Demon Tanjiro and his feral mode? How do you think that would go, especially since I can see him realising that he's stronger than Daki and so I wonder if he'll have similar thoughts about the Kamado initially, particularly since he's currently stuck as Lower moon 1.
I know they won’t have memories of their past lives but do you think like gyu and daki would just start like randomly crying whenever the kamados are all together and are just enjoying life. Like they have zero clue why they are crying. Also gyu and daki are definitely the siblings the younger kamados talk to about getting bullied to because by the next day it’s no longer a problem. Tanjiro is the sibling you talk to if you want someone to talk to the bully’s parents to get them to stop. Also coz gyutaro is the one that gets his drivers license early and gets a motorcycle he drives himself, daki and tanjiro to highschool while the youngers have Nezuko to take them to school. Once the elder trio graduates gyutaro probably uses his bike to get the last kamados to school if they are still attending. Also it would be hilarious that tanjiro has to point out to the stranger that the boy with ink like birthmarks is the actual eldest by a few minutes.

I could honestly see them randomly crying tears of joy in their sleep after a particularly happy day with the whole family, but they never remember their dreams during those instances and are thus unaware that they briefly see glimpses of their old lives, mainly memories surrounding the fates of the Kamados as a whole, and the reason why the tears are happy is because they all got a much happier life this time. And yeah, I can definitely see those shenanigans surrounding the Kamado siblings, especially about the whole bullying thing. Also, now I'm just imagine a cop pulling over the eldest 3 on their way to school and tries to scold them without giving any of the 3 a chance to respond (would be hilarious if it was Sanemi's reincarnation) before pointing at Tanjiro, saying that he's shocked the Kamado allowed his brother to drive the motorcycle without a licence and joining in. Only to get embarrassed when Tanjiro just points at his older brother, who is holding up his licence for all to see. Daki would likely feel like a kick is at least deserved if cop Sanemi caused the group to be late.

To be fair, no one really likes him, so it makes sense, especially when we are discussing things that allow Daki and Gyutaro to live. Also, I just imagine that Kaigaku pulled what he did with Gyomei's orphanage with the Demons Tanjiro is looking after and he goes absolutely ballistic in his feral mode. So yeah, he has every right to be terrified of the Demon Kamado if he somehow lives past that incident.
Also, how do you think the reincarnated trio would interact with the Uzui family? Especially if it involves a reincarnated Tengen, Makio, Suma and Hinatsuru.
Which her two brothers won’t allow her to do as it would be counted as an assault against an officer and would just make them even more late than they already were. I can also just imagine daki and Nezuko just venting about their girl troubles to each other while having a girls night with the rest of their sisters and mom. And Zenitsu name keeps popping up coz let’s say in middle school he had a thing for daki but when she forcibly rejects him for not getting that she wanted nothing to do with him. He moves on to her younger sister Nezuko (note Zenitsu is one of tanjiros friends along with Inosuke) which isn’t ok with gyu as he already doesn’t like the guy for his attempts with daki and now he’s moving on to one of his younger sisters not on his or tanjiros watch. Essentially Zenitsu never gets to have any time alone with Nezuko when visiting the kamados. Daki doesn’t like Inosuke for having such pretty face and putting no effort into maintaining it like she does it annoys her to no end.
Yeah he’s on very thin ice as the only lower moon Muzan now has so he has to make sure he doesn’t fail at any point. And besides they already have a coward within their ranks with Hantengu they don’t really need another one. But yeah demon tanjiro hears about what kaigaku did the the orphanage an attacks him on sight only stopping temporarily when his siblings takes him away to calm down
Honestly, I'm just now imagining Daki having a history of attacking cops that try to harass her, which explains why her first instinct is to try and kick cop Sanemi. But it is nice to know that Nezuko and Daki have someone to talk with about the problems they face as girls, especially with Hanako and Kie there as well. And poor Zenitsu, with protective older siblings like Gyutaro, Daki and Tanjiro on top of not experiencing the life and death situations of his previous life in canon, Zenitsu certainly won't be getting with Nezuko this time around. Also, I just imagine that a lot of Daki's hate for Zenitsu and Inosuke actually comes from the fact that they beheaded her a lot in her previous life.
Honestly, I'm kind of curious how the other Upper moons and Hantengu's clones reacted during that situation, including Muzan. Either way, the moment that Kaigaku challenges the sibling trio to a Blood Battle to advance in rank, is the moment that feral Demon Tanjiro will take his sweet time in making this insect pay for what he has done.
Also, if Tengen path Tanjiro and Demon Tanjiro met, I just like the mental image of them instantly realising that they are both running an orphanage and just leave each other alone, feeling instant respect for their counterpart and never speaking of the encounter ever again.
The only reason she doesn’t get arrested is because tanjiro is able to sweet talk the cop or if they are a newbie cop they are intimidated by gyutaro into letting her off the hook. Id figure for the housing situation the boys all share a room and so do the girls and Tanjuro and Kie have their own room which also has the baby. So Nezuko and daki are very close as sisters. Yeah I think like any romantic partner any of the siblings have is very subtlety vetted by the rest of them. They are a very protective family after all. But yes I do think their past lives do play a part in their new lives as Zenitsu and Inosuke are hated on sight by daki and for why she doesn’t know but eventually she finds her how reasons to dislike her brothers friends. By that same logic tengen and gyutaro definitely have some weird rivalry they hate each other but they also respect each other.
Yeah feral tanjiro would probably want to do most of the fighting against kaigaku but will leave h8m for his siblings to finish off once he’s had his fun.
I’d just imagine that they meet while getting supplies for said orphanages and just sorta recommend different things to each other before realising that they are two versions of the same person and they both agree if they ever saw the other version they would pretend they didn’t and just go about their lives.
I can oddly see Cop Genya interacting with Daki a lot, so he's able to tell when the attacks on his fellow cops are deserved due to them trying to corner and coerce her into doing things a cop shouldn't. Which results in him quickly being partnered up with Sanemi because their boss wants them to sort out their crap and the younger Shinazugawa got a lot of promotions thanks to Daki's situation. Also, I can definitely see that being the case because while I'm sure the Kamados would be well off thanks to Tanjiro's past life time as a member of the Uzui family, they probably do need to save money a lot for their numerous family members. Also, good look to those who are interested in any member of the Kamado family, because you will face a challenge even greater than the Corps did against Muzan. And boy that must be interesting of a situation, because the youngest of the triplets just had to get along incredibly well with the very people that Daki and Gyutaro hate on instinct alone.
Also, I just realised that in this reincarnated path, thanks to Tengen adopting Tanjiro, the Sound Hashira and his wives' reincarnations are probably either uncle and aunts to the trio or are cousins.

Oh yes I think the fact that they are technically a branch off of the uzui family tree due to tanjiros adoption into the uzui family. So yeah tengens reincarnation would be a cousin to the kamados which is probably why he has such an odd relationship with gyutaro and daki. Because gyu still hates his cousin for coming out so handsome compared to him but did he really need to have 3 girlfriends at the same time! Gyutaro and daki are probably the most thorough with vetting their little siblings partners. Tanjiro and Nezuko aren’t as strict about it because as long as a good and honest person then they’ll more or less welcome you into their family. The youngest siblings just casually observe the person and just report back to the rest of them their findings. Gyutaro would probably be the first out of the siblings to get a job and help out their parents financially, tanjiro probably picks up a babysitting job and daki keeps getting fired from jobs she’s applied to because of the cops harassment of her.

Just makes it even more hilarious in all honesty. Like, the first time the set of cousins meet, Tengen seems to get along well with Tanjiro to the point where an outsider looking at them may think they are siblings while Daki and Gyutaro look like they want to murder the reincarnated Hashira and vice versa, all while the youngest of the 4 doesn't notice for even an instant. I can so see reincarnated Tengen saying something like "How is the youngest the only flashy one out of you 3? He should be the least flashy by default due to being younger than you two!!". But yeah, even though Daki and Gyutaro will still be the toughest to earn approval from, doing so must have been a pain for those pursuing their siblings. I can imagine how out of her element reincarnated Kanao was when she tried to go on a date with Tanjiro and his older siblings found out.
Also, poor Daki. I can see her seeing the same cop for the 5th time on her job at a café and screams "WHY DON'T YOU PERVERTED ASSHATS JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!? I WAS UNDERAGE WHEN YOU FIRST TRIED THIS AND I'M STILL A DECADE OR TWO YOUNGER THAN YOU PATHETIC PARASITES!!!". And during their entire fight, the two Tanjiro are always somehow walking away from them just in time to not notice the explosive fight and are just enjoying a talk about the children they look after. Also, I just realised that because of the Obi Sash on Demon Tanjiro, Ume would see the human version of her brother. How do you think her and Gyutaro would react to that, especially if they learnt that the man they are currently fighting adopted Tanjiro after their deaths?
Yeah daki and gyutaro don’t fully know why they hate their cousin so much, so again like with Zenitsu and Inosuke they make up their own reasons. Gyutaros is because of how handsome his cousin turned out compared to his tall and very skinny self. Daki just doesn’t like her cousin’s arrogance at all even though she can also be quite arrogant because she is still super pretty that she has guys falling for her weekly. The older of the two would be so mad at their cousins words about how tanjiro should be the least flashy whatever that means. I don’t think tanjiro would be able to hide much from his siblings especially since he shares a room with all his brothers so yeah if he’s acting odd they clock it immediately. I can just imagine tanjiro coming home one night from a date with kanas and the house is pitch black which is odd for them. And as soon as he turns on the lights his siblings are there ready to interrogate him.
She possibly keeps trying to report that cop with either genya or Sanemi coz they are getting sick of that guy too but due to how broken the system is he gets to keep his job. I’d like to think the boss that has the influence to kick out cops is the recarntion of upper moon 3 Akaza and his wife koyuki. Because their dojo is well respected and it allows daki to get out some of her anger.

He also wears gyutaros scarves around his wrists along with the dakis obi around his waist. Honestly they’d all be crying from the small reunion well at least on human tanjiros end. I’d think both demons would be touched that even though this version of their brother no longer had them around he still wanted to wear reminders of them. They’d only be crying when tanjiro mentioned his little private funeral he had for them after they passed and how according to tengen they through insults made him agree to looking after tanjiro.
Kind of makes you think how they would react to their previous lives. Then again, it is probably for the best that they never know, especially Daki and Gyutaro since they would be crushed by their actions as Demons and their desire back then to turn Tanjiro as well. Also, your description reminded me of that scene in the Incredibles when the wife caught her husband late at night because he was doing illegal hero work. Oh god, imagine that awkward moment when Kie comes across that moment before she sits down with Tanjiro's siblings and begins asking her own questions about Kanao.
The funny thing is, I can easily imagine that besides her brother, Akaza was Daki's favourite of the Upper moons since despite being so weak, he did treat her with respect but didn't let himself get pushed around by her. But yeah, I can just imagine that the little dialogue I wrote happened when she snapped at that cop in Akaza's Dojo and to the man's confusion, he sees the young girl packing up about to leave due to expecting to be fired. Only to cry to the heavens and thank Hinokami that now that cop won't be able to bother her as much. Heck, perhaps Akaza's influence may be able to actually get the man kicked out of the force when he worked together with Sanemi and Genya because the man is still trying his luck with Ume and now a few of his students.

Yeah it’s probably for the best they don’t find out but it would make their demon selves so happy to find out that even in this life tanjiro is still their brother. And the fact they aren’t suffering at all in this new life is even better. But yes that is exactly the scene I was envisioning when writing that. But omg he would be so embarrassed and scared when his mother joins the questioning. Like being caught by your siblings wasn’t already embarrassed enough but now his mother is getting involved, good thing it wasn’t a school night. They may even get him to bring her to their home as soon as possible so they can see the girl that has his heart.

That's true. And hey, they got even more siblings that are actually pretty cool, so that's a nice bonus. Also, I can just imagine Daki and Gyutaro sharing a look when Kie begins her own questions and just leaves to get some popcorn and record the whole thing for teasing material and entertainment. Actually, it would be even funnier if this happened the day before Tanjiro and Kanao went on their actual date and he had been out for so long because Kanao actually needed some help carrying some things into her home since Kanae was forced to work a nightshift at her job and Shinobu was out with Giyu. And imagine how embarrassed he would be if Kie put enough pressure on her son to make him slip and mention the planned date.
Yeah, that was the main reason why I could imagine Akaza showing Daki some respect as Demons. And now I'm just imagining those 2 throwing a small party for themselves and Gyutaro and Tanjiro are confused on why they had to go to a bar and pick up their drunk sister, who is unusually happy despite being intoxicated.
That would be the only possible way for Tengen and the Upper 6 siblings to show any form of respect to each other if I'm being honest.
Indeed, also I can just see tanjiro look so betrayed by his own triplet siblings as they leave to go get popcorn, what happened to being ride or die with him. But yeah the fact that he has to explain he wasn’t actually on a date that night he was just helping her bring some stuff from school back to her house because her sisters were busy. Then immediately slip up and say the actual date would be next week, before using his hands to cover his mouth after he said this. And immediately trying to deny saying that even though all of his family knows he sucks at lying.
They probably had to walk to pick her up as neither brother wanted her to slip off gyutaros motorbike while she’s drunk.

Yeah I can definitely see the demon slayer that gave both Mitsuri and shinobu the boob window uniforms to be the scummy cop. But yes she is drinking until either the bar closes or her brothers come pick her up.
And immediately after talking, Daki and Gyutaro grab both of his arms and are about to drag him away to remove their cousin's 'brainwashing' and only stop because of a look from their mom. They will continue later though.

The guy was actually a Kakushi instead of a Slayer. But yeah, now I imagine Kagaya is in charge of the police force here and he was left unaware of the scummy cop's actions because of some connections, so he's probably being thrown in prison as well. For how long though depends on both how young his targets are (Ume alone will already paint a horrible picture) and if any of the man's attempts were successful.
They’d probably yell at tengen over the phone for ‘brainwashing’ their brother but he’d just laugh at the fact tanjiro was slowly adopting his flashyness. But yeah a triplet bonding night is in order to get rid of their stupid cousins brainwashing from their brother.
Yeah I just remember that he goes to hell for a little bit to interview the demons when he died for a little bit after the final battle. But yeah getting him into prison was a long time coming especially since he’s probably been harassing daki since she finished middle school.

But seriously, I wonder how many times Tengen's influence on Tanjiro showed and the reincarnated Hashira had to deal with those phone calls.
It really says a lot when that he went to hell immediately upon his death for those few minutes. But seriously, the only reason why I can think of Kagaya allowing Scum Glasses to make those perverted uniforms in canon is either because no one told him or the Corps leader had to bite a bullet and tolerate it to an extent since the man happens to be the one able to quickly make new uniforms from the durable material. Oh well, at least the man will be punished in this reincarnated life now and I imagine cop Sanemi and Daki enjoyed getting in the punches and kicks they have been waiting for years to deliver.
Honestly it probably happened a lot especially during highschool I’d like to think tengen would be at least 3 years older than the triplets. So when they started highschool he had probably graduated or graduating that year. He probably even helped gyutaro get his license for his motorbike which gyutaro hated.
Yeah it’s probable that because he’s so quick at making the uniform that they looked over his pervy side. But yes sanemi would probably invite daki to the station where he was being held and told her she had ten minutes with him. And let’s just say a lot of her time at the dojo was her training for this moment
That's true. Especially since Tanjiro probably had some of Tengen's flashiness buried somewhere in his soul since he was the man was his adoptive father in his last life, so the triplet's cousin probably was able to influence the youngest of the trio a lot. And poor Gyutaro, and the funny thing would be if Gyutaro was only a few weeks away from getting the license but Tengen got it early for him.
Makes sense. And what happened in those 10 minutes was so brutal, that rumours among the immates began to spread, consisting of some inmates thinking that the station was now haunted based off the screams or that the police hired a someone that looked as kind as an angel, but is in fact a Demon wearing one's skin. Either way, just because of how long overdue those 10 minutes were due to years of sexual harassment on a minor, Kagaya had the security cameras conveniently "undergo repairs due to a potential hacker attack" so Daki doesn't get sued for her actions.
Oh definitely, whenever the siblings were either over at his place or he was over at theirs. Tengen would always gravitate over to Tanjiro, something that kept him on the other triplets shit list. He does try to bond with his other siblings it’s just that they have hated him on sight since they were first introduced to eachother when the triplets were toddlers. But yeah gyutaro wants to thank his cousin but also punch him in the face.
Oh definitely honestly for those ten minutes anything could have happened to him. And no one would care.
Now I’m just imagining Tengen attempting to approach Tanjiro and toddler Gyutaro and Daki just grabs whatever their tiny hands could and throwing them at their cousin to keep him away and only stops when toddler Tanjiro begins to cry because he’s hungry and his older siblings have no choice but to stop since their cousin is the only person big enough to feed the baby in that moment. And then Daki and Guy are glaring daggers at Tengen’s back because he’s doing surprisingly well with the baby and is getting complimented for it by their mother.
Also, I just thought of this, but when the triplets are born, I could see them all crying louder and longer than newborn infants normally should and the crying only intensified whenever somebody tries to separate them.
Yeah I can see toddler gyutaro and daki getting banned from using the block toys whenever cousin tengen comes around for family gatherings, purely because of how much they attack him whenever they are near their youngest triplet. I can see that gyutaro and daki are normally such good kids for Tanjuro and Kie but occasionally have to have time outs when their cousin in around. But over the years I can see them just slowly tolerating their cousin but they still pretty much dislike him.
And yes they were the loudest babies ever but still not too loud to put off Kie from having more children. I can just think the noise they made when one of them was sick and the others kept breaking into their sick sibling’s room to keep them company and they ended up all getting sick.
Those first few instances must have been so confusing to Kie and Tanjuro since outside of some distress at the triplets being separated and toddlers being toddlers, Gyutaro and Daki would have been pretty kind kids up to that point. But hey, at least the eldest 2 of the triplets can admit to Tengen being family now.
True. That must have been one heck of a handful to deal with and I can only imagine how worrying it must have been. But at least they all grew strong immune systems around the same time at least.
Also, I just thought of this. But if they all reincarnated and Nezuko was still alive to help kill Daki and Gyutaro, what do you think those 3 would feel towards each other in this new life?
And they do so very begrudgingly. Because like in the manga where tengens descendent is quite the popular athlete I’d figure reincarnated tengen is the pretty much the same in that aspect. Which definitely doesn’t help gyutaros hatred of his cousin especially when he’s constantly asking himself and tanjiro to join him when tengen does his practises for sports events hoping it will boost up gyutaro self confidence but actually just makes him envy tengen more.
Oh definitely as they did get sick together a lot in their childhood but they have great immune systems. Thanks to them getting vaccinated when needed.
I can just imagine them getting excited when Kie is pregnant with Nezuko as they don’t know that the baby is Nezuko yet but once the baby is here definitely get jealous that tanjiros and their parents attention isn’t on them for the time being. They probably wouldn’t like her at first due to her being a new baby of the family and coz of past lives memory feelings. But they’d get used to her as she is their little sister now.
Tengen totally would. And if he gets a reputation as a captain of a team or is referred to as a hero in some way in the sports he takes part in, it would definitely increase Gyutaro's envy. But hey, at least Tengen dragging the 2 brothers into practising with him helps keep the two very fit.
I can definitely see that. Especially since I imagine baby Nezuko crying in distress and seeming quite uncomfortable around the eldest 2 siblings for quite a bit until her developing mind recognises the 2 as ultimately safe towards her.
I can just imagine gyutaro foaming at the mouth on the odd occasion where he forced to go to his cousins games or sports meets ‘for family support’ because his cousin isn’t all that great. But if tanjiro has a game gyutaro definitely switches up and is so supportive, to point where tanjiro asks if he wants to join which he denies each time. Because he wants to make sure there’s no foul play going on from the other team to his brother. If there’s foul play happening during tengens games, gyutaro will hold his tongue.
Yeah I imagine when baby Nezuko is left in gyutaros or dakis care she cries she sometimes cries when tanjiro looks after her but it wasn’t as often as gyu and daki. But as she grows from baby to toddler she gets more used to them and on the odd occasion when their parents are busy with the other kids, she wants gyu or daki to tuck her into bed for that night and to check under the bed for monsters
I can just imagine the look of betrayal on Tengen's face when he picks up on this. But hey, at least making sure Tanjiro's games aren't being rigged may actually cause them to bond. Very slightly, but it is there. Also, if Tengen's girlfriends realise that Gyutaro is holding his tongue when his cousin's games have foul play occurring and he said nothing, he's probably not having a fun time.

Anything that gets tengen to bond with his cousin is a win in his book. But yes the betrayal on his face would make gyutaros day. Oh yes tengens girlfriends would definitely be on gyutaros case about why he doesn’t call the foul play happening during tengens games. His main point is that tengen is just so stupidly talented that it probably wouldn’t effect him all that much if he was caught up in foul play, but tanjiro on the other hand is a magnet for catastrophic bad luck and he isn’t letting his brother break any bone in his body just coz some punk wanted to cheat their way to the top.
He’d probably be internally sobbing when she says that to him, when it’s his turn to tuck her into bed and read to her before leaving her so she can get to sleep. He’d probably collapse on his and tanjiros shared bunk bed and just sob with pure happiness.
To be honest, Tengen's girlfriends would know that Gyutaro is lying a bit but they wouldn't be able to actually argue against his defence because of how true it is.
It would honestly be sweet if Tanjiro can instantly tell that these tears aren't from sadness and just let's his brother have this moment to himself and talk to him about it later on in the morning.
But oh they would try to argue against it because even if gyutaro is tengens cousin, he is still a bit of an ass to their boyfriend. Not they any of them really know the reason why.
Oh definitely tanjiro just let gyutaro just feel for the night before talking to him about it in the morning.
I meant more with the actual point since Tengen overcomes a lot of foul play and Tanjiro really does have a lot of bad luck. But they aren't letting him get away with being an ass as a whole though.
It would be a really sweet moment to see in the Manga and anime if I'm being honest.
Ah! But they’d still at least try to argue that he should be looking out for his cousin as well probably because tengens playing something like college level or something similar compared to tanjiros highschool level.

Oh I’ll definitely do it just been busy with other art projects like inktober and just jumping around on different hyper fixations. It will be done eventually but when that will be I don’t even know.
