    Poor, poor Varian. I'm not even talking about the frequent kidnappings, but Eugene and Lance. If I was forced to deal with people like them ... I couldn't be held responsible for my actions.

      That’s very true lol, but luckily they’re only teasing and goofing around here even if they may seem annoying. I love how done with everything Varian seems in season 3 though (and rightfully so), the poor fictional soul’s dang character development and trauma really seemed apparent in canon even if he was pretty much underused and very much disrespected by Lance this episode.

      (And did I have the Baron kidnap him just to prevent Lance from messing with his invention, maybe… heh, but ngl Lance may have a heart attack when he figures out what happened to his little buddy)

        I did always feel bad about Varian's invention getting ruined. It's just a little too akin to the stuff I hated when I was a kid, when stuff like that happened all the time as a gag. Like, Lucy, just let Charlie Brown hit the stinkin' ball! hah

          Yeah, to be honest it’s only funny to have something like this run constantly as a gag if it’s to a character who isn’t relatable or not a fan favourite, otherwise, we’re just salty LOL
