Cats are interesting, I like them too, but it's really curious how people tend to prefer them over dogs.
I've only seen the classic Naruto, and only when Naruto goes to train with Jiraiya, I think. But I've read some Naruto fics like that, but I never found one that I loved until recently. The fic is called "Mana," it made me cry a lot, but it seems to be heading towards something happy, I think, it just has a lot of anguish in the middle. There was even one that traumatized me because it violently killed a character from one of the teams during the Chunin Exams, something that doesn't happen in the original. I was really upset. For me, personally, reincarnation fics need to have: a female protagonist who reincarnates, romance with that protagonist, and the fixing of various things that went wrong in the original. If it doesn't have these three elements, I'm not as interested, although the first requirement is negotiable, the last one isn't, because what's the point of a reincarnation or rewrite fic that makes everything worse than the original? I don't understand that concept, I don't judge, but I don't understand...
Yes, it seems so!!! It's a position that can be quite vulnerable, but human intelligence can help a lot.

Amen, that name is terrible!!! I like Greek or Roman names, or names of gods, things that I find beautiful but wouldn't have the courage to name my child. I'm not a big fan of people names for animals, unless it's from a language that's not the owner's native language. But it's a matter of taste.
I love it when tough characters, especially men, love cute things, it's such a delightful and fun twist of expectation!!!
Oooh!!!! Can I recommend you some awesome Naruto fanfics? Nukenin by WhisperingDarkness Okay so this one's mostly humour and fairly short. Just Kakashi in an alternate universe where he's abandoned Konoha. It's just super-funny, well-written and awesome:)
discendo docemus by llamallamaduck One of my favourite authors- just a way of going off-script and writing super-well all the emotions and everything carry through. I definitely recommend this one. It's Sasuke-focussed but nothing like the blockhead from the Manga :)
Haruno Sakura: Psychopath and Saviour of the World by Jememe. A middle-aged man and serial killer reincarnated in a world of serial killers. Yeah. It's awesome!! So well-written.
A Lack of Wisdom by Aethelar. Humor and seriousness and awesomeness, all together. "Featuring a grumpy protagonist who wants mochi, clean socks, and to maintain possession of their life and eyeballs in that order, a troll-dad sensei who's genuinely trying to understand the pint sized weirdos he's been saddled with but isn't sure where to start, and two team mates who are honest to god twelve year olds who canonically didn't mature until after the handy dandy time skip. Where, please, is the unsubscribe button, because I'd like to request a different afterlife."
Time Flies Like An Arrow by Katlou303. You know those time travel fics where the adult mind's back in the kid? Yeah, but what if not everything came back. So this Sakura just has snippets of knowledge and nightmares and confuses the heck out of the Uchiha, Shisui and Kakashi. Brilliantly written :)
The Medic-Nin's Guide to Casual Revolution by spideywhiteys. Awesome change fic! Just slowly revolutionising the world and romance :)
The many lives of Hatake Raiden by Meeceisme. This entire series is worth reading. Funny and awesome changes to the Naruto plot.
And lastly, but best of all, Deduction in Shadows by GremlinSR. It's a kind of Sherlock crossover but not quite. Just a sister / daughter to the holmes family, deducing and reincarnated as an orphan and bringing her deductions to the Nara family. Awesomely well written and super-slow-burn with Shikamaru :)
I know, right? Me, too. Adore this huge, lethal character (Oliver) just super-softening up for Thea, Felicity and puppies :)

I've not read either of them, but will definitely dig in. Part of me keeps playing around in my head with an Amazonian Felicity as I saw one or two like that on here, but then I keep thinking I don't want her to have to be a fighter before Oliver acknowledges her and so I keep being torn *sigh* Nothing written on it yet. But you know, the undertaking, roof collapsing? What if she held that up and went... huh. And while Oliver's on Liang Yu she's in Themyscira. Anyway. Thoughts. Thanks!
