      Lol. Since this is an SU story you could definitely play around with Jesse’s trauma and him getting PTSD from some thing that act as reminders for his past. Maybe Mayor Dewey or some other human character could say Steve looks kinda familiar?

        Don't know if or how I would build up to it, but I have been toying with the idea of a Mindful Education type scene with Jesse's own demons. He'd certainly be seeing a lot of people within his own hallucinations.
