I remember that ad in AvA3 and have been trying to think of a way to make this canon compliant, but it's a hard sell to make it work. best I can do is that stick figures were a sort of dark web secret that Alan stumbled upon. but I definitely don't think sticks were alive before victim. remember, chosen was imprisoned by Alan for at least a year between AvA2 and 3. since victim plainly wasn't dead this whole time, maybe they were the one writing that article.
this takes place before AvA6! but as part of the plot I am thinking of also making it during? that's still in the planning stages, but that would almost certainly be a canon divergence by that point.
