    Running into hauntings in a forest said to be eternal? Celebi picked the best spot to snoop. All this dialogue is just laced with Lucas' intuitions from his aura sensitivity and he's just starting to pick up on it himself. Or maybe he vaguely suspects and that feeling is only going to get uncannily stronger the more accurate it is. I like how Barry completely threw him off while still being entirely honest. Celebi got lucky.

    I wonder what was going through Cyrus' head, to drop that question and leave without a response. (Game mechanics aside? I'm fuzzy on the details. Perhaps that is all he says.)

    Ooh, and Totodile! Yes, indeed a rarity! Dang, I didn't pick up on that despite the questions.

    Celebi calling Dialga papa is adorable. He would be, in a sense. They're all sort of from the same branch.

      I have a lot of ideas about Lucas’ sensitivity to Aura, but it’s more like the first thing you said. He knew that something was watching them, but he wouldn’t have actually known it was Celebi unless he actually saw her. Barry absolutely ruined any chance of that happening, unfortunately. xD

      (I’m starting to realize my soft spot for Gen II is probably super obvious at this point, LMAO.)

      There’s actually a little more that Cyrus says in-game, but I always read that as more of a soliloquy than him actually addressing the trainers. So the three just didn’t hear that in-game dialogue. As for what what was possibly going through Cyrus’ head…spoilers. >:3c
