God, the way you characterize Alhaitham is absolutely beautiful. You can really feel his quiet panic and concern over Cyno’s life as it shifts from him being worried about his life alone, to him being worried about never getting the chance to tell him how he feels alongside that. I can imagine Alhaitham, stonefaced as ever, but with a telltale sign of his brows being slightly knit together as a expression of his concern and fear.
The collar of sigils too, an excellent way to show the curse in a manner to how his power is normally displayed.
Part of me wonders if the god is rebelling against Cyno because Cyno too has realized that he has feelings for Alhaitham. Hermanubis, being a jealous god, doesn’t want to share his vessel and is punishing his transgressions.
