    Oh my goodness, thanks so much for your comment!! It means so much to me that you're enjoying yourself. And I don't have any issues reading long comments, you're good there haha. It's such a strange concept that I wasn't expecting such positive reception. :)

    My goodness, you've done some good hard sleuthing here!! The part of me that's had this story bottled up inside for the last 10-ish years desperately wants to spill all the beans, but that would heavily spoil things. So I'll just say that you definitely got one thing right, but I won't tell you which one. >:3 (That actually should be revealed next chapter, if my writing paces out that way, but just in case maybe take that with a grain of salt)

    Oddly enough, I didn't even think about potentially bringing in the antidote or the gunshot scars as proof-- the video footage scene's been written for a few years already so I just needed to get what came before it on paper (There are a few scenes like that that already exist simply because I was terrified I wouldn't remember them when I got there in the story-- I'm a pantser after all, so that's sometimes a frighteningly real possibility. Shinichi’s identity reveal to Ran was one such scene).

    I'm actually sad that my reply can't cover everything you've theorized, but I'm so happy that you like the story so much. Makes me wish I'd been brave enough to start posting sooner than 2019 haha. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

      You're welcome! I've really enjoyed reading the chapters posted so far and I'm excited to see how the rest of the story goes. ^^

      Well then, I suppose I'll have to wait and see which one of my theories was right, and how close or far off I was with the other ones! :D Something about this fic really got the brain juices flowing and the grey cells going for theorizing haha. It's like a giant puzzle and I'm trying to find where the pieces I have go and where the missing ones are, all while trying to figure out what the big picture is... huh, wonder if that's how Shinichi and the other detectives in this series feel about solving mysteries too.
