    i did!! it took me SO freaking long to track down that episode (ep 300 #308 the main frame is headmaster vaughn and not arlo or john hence why it took me fuck ass long, its like half way thru the ep) im glad someone noticed!

    same tho but i find it interesting how he doesn’t consider his mom “someone important” to him. its a tragic irony that jane loved her son and husband enough to subject herself to being little more than a human experiment but john and william just /couldn’t have know/ so john grows up with detached feelings towards her. like, i definitely empathize with john more on this specific issue, but man,, nonetheless tragic narratively

      I can relate, I think. I've always personally felt pretty detached from even people I see regularly, and I can only imagine how much more distant one's feelings and care could be to someone who they have no emotional connection to.
