I loved it when Irma called Pollux fat in the head—the way it was said was just such a strange one. It came out of left field. I like that Alphard actually seemed worried; unlike Cygnus who was more focused on himself. I like the idea that since Walburga was more rebellious before, she was actually quite close with Alphard (and that's also why Alphard is close with Sirius), but that she disapproved that he never 'grew out of it, as she did.'
There was one moment that I wasn't quite sure about, when Irma said: "She’s lost a child, you have no idea what she’s feeling." and Alphard tenses. It seemed significant. Why was that, have I missed something? Or was it just because he knew that his parents would start arguing then?
Lucretia was so sassy with the sister-in-law comment towards Druella, lol. Not sure if she deserved it, but since she and Cygnus seemed happy for Walburga and Orion's loss I suppose that she did. Lucretia being the only one who was able to console Walburga felt very fitting, and for some reason calling her 'Lucy' really tugged the ol' heart strings. It's like she reverted to her younger self. I cried so much while reading this chapter 😭
