Ok, the Awkwardness of the situation of LXC having to ask WWX to save his brother is kinda funny even though the situation is so serious. Like, LXC is OLDER than WWX, remembers him as a chaotic but sweet and clever school boy who his brother has a crush on. But now he is ~The~Yiling~Patriarch~, great and mighty terror of the Cultivation world, Necromancer Supreme with a reported Terrifying Army of Undead, etc etc. And then he goes to the Burial Mounds and WWX is still Just Some Guy who asks rather than orders, no fierce corpses present (presumably Wen Ning was out of sight), and is perfectly polite.
LXC: Oh mighty Yiling Patriarch, I come to ask a boon for you to save my brother-- WWX: ...this is weird. You're older than me, we KNOW each other. Please stop making it weird. I need to ask Wen Qing if it's ok to leave and then I will totally go help you save Lan Zhan.
