God, I love how you wrote the perspective cuz it really made me hate Daemon. It’s almost insulting to me that he would call us in the modern world lowly scribes when all he can do is bang swords together. But I guess that’s the point with him and his limited viewpoint and some sort of parasocial connection we have to the self insert.
