Roy is in a rough place. They both needed each other and it was about so much more than football. The football improving was a lovely side effect. I really had to lay it on thick for poor Roy and how much he's fucked up, how much not having the outlet of training and the friendship of Jamie has spiralled him. We saw him in Sunflowers before Jamie got him to open up, so now imagine that all bottled up for six months. Roy wants to think he'd never hurt Jamie but he has hurt Jamie :(
