What do Skarka and Harki directly translate too? It's a feat and a half to translate their names I imagine.
And even when Hiccup is speaking Old Norse, you still characterize him so accurately. I also love the Fishlegs and Hiccup friendship. Something I find in a few fics that I'm not fond of is Hiccup and Fishlegs being indifferent to each other. LIKE NO!! They're both the biggest nerds on the team! If anything, they're competitive with each other.
And Jack instinctively just walking off shit or trying to fly away from Stoick had me grinning. Dude must feel so frustrated having to fly on someone else's dragon to get into the sky.
AND THE SHEPHERDS CROOK!!!! Hiccup being so awkward, I literally can't. I have a feeling that Jack is gonna try to perch on the crook without thinking and just come crashing down one of these times. And how everyone must think he's a little insane in the head bc of him trying to do his usual activities without his powers.
