Maybe smii7y could turn his body into a liquid (my reasoning: I think this bc of his milk bag character so he could turn into this sorta slime thing and slither around or melt/disappear into any liquid near by) blarg could grow plants (my reasoning: I honestly just got an image in my head where a like 4 to 6 year old blarg growing a flower in his hands and holding it out for someone with like slightly wide eyes and his mouth a little open idk if from shock or what lol (my mom has a photo of me like that except I'm trying to give her rocks lmao) someone could have like a siren ability, a red panda shifter would be cute honestly I really only watch the frog house so I don't know what or who I could suggest 😅
But maybe blarg and smii7y could be super attached to each other like the others and smii7y takes charge for the two (and like puffer and grizzly said big red take care of small red, smii7y takes care of blarg and protects him in any way he can) and blarg has this "happy" and curious personality always wants to explore and play and smii7y always has to keep him in line and hold his hand or shirt so blarg doesn't wonder off (I know blarg might seem weird bc after the lab and everything why would he still act like a normal child? But my reasoning is trauma doesn't always change someone's personality, what I'm thinking is maybe he disassociated during most of it and so he(/his brain) is reacting like he didn't personally experienced any of it and so while he 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 these horrible things happened to him, he just can't seem to feel anything about it (idk if that makes any real sense but that's how my brain has always worked, I was told that it's just another way the brain will protect itself/you) sorta likes he's gone numb about everything and so he just acts normal as to not worry or stress out smii7y)
so basically smii7y = mother cat (even though he's also a child and not a cat anything) and blarg = overly curious kitten (even though he's also not cat anything)

Omg that's so cute! And really complimentary of each other. Water/liquid and plants. Like for example maybe they got sold together to someone with a big prestigious greenhouse and used for making it even more high end.
I think Blarg being "happy" wouldn't be that weird. Coping looks different for everyone and he probably doesn't realize how fucked up everything is with nothing to compare it to.

Yes! And they could have a twin flames (like made for each other (platonically ofc)) kind of thing going on and then they were sold as a pair because Smii7y's power can help enhance Blarg's
Exactly! Everyone copes differently and it's so unfortunate that so many people don't believe that or think anyone who copes like that are lying about their trauma
