      Ok my idea was that when John was in the rehabilitation center and he got out, he genuinely had no access to his ability! So this could go two ways, first the ability dampener! He got injected with that stuff and many things change (this version of the world is a soulmate world! He has a Phoenix! His aura color in it and all in a part of his body- and it's a Jeraphina story so he has a part of seraphina's soulmate mark on him, in this specific story how high your ability level is directly ties to how big your soulmate mark shape is, like 1.0 is a litte bigger than a dot, 3.0 are like a small box size soulmate marks, 5.0 and up can cover your arm, and god tiers can have it around their bodies, like from the ankle up till your neck! And it moves according to the god tiers wishes! Again it depends on what level you are early 6.0 god tiers reach half their body and less of they don't use much aura)

        I've never really had an interest in soulmate aus and all that but it sounds interesting.

        It'd be pretty funny when it came to William and Jane. She has the smallest fucking dot and William just looks tatted out.

          I wanna make more with the second version but idk cuz I'd stray his ability somewhere else because parts of his ability would become different and be a whole different thing in of itself cuz he did something else entirely than from his cannon self

      John was crippled with the dampener and willed his soulmate mark to hide so he could pretend to be a cripple, he thought his ability loss as a chance for a new start, he didn't befriend sera though but with his confidence and fearless attitude he still got dragged into the turf wars ambush of chapter 56! He thought couldn't fight back and after a month started his joker ark!

      There's more but it's time to move towards Version2 of him not having access to his ability!

      In this other version his ability gets shattered from all the trauma he received and he has to use another way to use the remnants of what he use dto have in a different way, which he is glad, now thought he uses his ability mentally, and creates something like the metaphysical plane for himself! I'm still working on this one but basically it allows John to make and absorb mental energy and make mental constructs like sorta like if someone who could make hallucinations made them physical! Just that john can do more!
