    Oh noooo not toilet horror! Nightmare! I have so many dreams where toilets attack or act unpredictably and I thought it was a common nightmare but I asked a friend the other day if they had similar dreams and they were like… no… So IDK maybe I’m alone in this one but for Ed to be attacked in his bathroom through his toilet was TERRIFYING!

    I reread last chapter along with this one and all your characters are terrific but Vicious is my FAVORITE.

    Also enjoyed the bit thrown in where people who are unable to accept or try to reject their stands don’t have perfect control of them. I’ve wondered about stand users with unique psychologies or compositions and… if stands are connected to people’s souls what that might mean…

    Ed’s figured out Betterman’s ability but dammit I haven’t! Looking forward to next chapters, man writing is HARD and of this quality… you’re great! For example:

    “The bronze Diamondback Sturgeon lies awkwardly against the concrete block from which he’s been unseated, pointing up at the sky in a rather philosophical manner.” I can totally see it lol. And Ed wondering if he’ll have a badass scar (sadly, no). Public sidewalks being pretentious… I always suspected! When I see ones that are stamped with some sort of dedication or embedded that glittery stuff I’m always like “calm down you’re just a sidewalk.” And funny to think that different stretches of sidewalk have slightly different personalities…

    Anyway thanks for another great read!

      HELL YEAH — seeing your comments always makes my day!! Glad you enjoyed it! There’s absolutely something especially private or intimate about bathrooms that makes the thought of intrusion especially spooky. I read a lot of stories about sewer gators and that kinda shit as a kid, so I completely relate. (I guess Polnareff had a similar thing in part 3…)
      Vicious is my favorite too — he’s ungodly fun to write, and Cecilia’s Stand as a whole just lends itself to so many unique situations. And I’ve always wondered what would happen if someone actively tried to suppress their Stand usage, since that’s never explored in canon.
      I’ve finally got a hold on college, so I’m going to try for a semi-regular release schedule. Fingers crossed there should be a new chapter every two weeks-ish. Thank you for reading, and very excited to share the rest of this arc!
