      Yeah, raiding the villains' base before the halfway point generally isn't a great idea. Just ask the police from Kuuga.

      And the Orange Ranger isn't going to be such a simple matter...

        Usually they don't raid the base at all...which is kind of weird sometimes.

          Yeah usually it's the other way around. The only seasons I can remember the heroes invading the villains' base are I think Gekiranger/Jungle Fury, Go-Onger/RPM, and Gokaiger/Megafarce.

              Oh yeah, the Lightspeed one was awesome. Kind of odd I forgot about that when this fic is meant to be a sorta-sequel to that season. Taking place in Mariner Bay, having the word 'rescue' in the title, and the Rangers having 'rescue ready' as part of their roll call.

              Also the fact that the GoGoV were another sibling team, but I didn't realize that until after I uploaded the first chapter. More of a fun coincidence.
