    Ok. I had to go look up the song & give it a listen. I’m realizing that I’ve heard very few of Tina Turner’s songs. And I’m SO glad you wrote this fic. It just clicks things into place why Farrah would have gotten obsessed with her.

      Making it a songfic was 100% inspired by you and your Total Eclipse of the Heart moment. The dancing was a canon scene in book 4, barely mentioned so I missed it entirely until my friend pointed it out. After I realized that, I HAD to write the scene that came before. And I think this song was absolutely the one Shirtaloon had in mind when he gave Farrah a Tina Turner obsession. This would definitely be the song Taika would know best, being the theme to a crap 80s sci fi action movie.

        Dawwwww! 🥰 I really do love me a song fic. And I’m SO glad you used it because I’ve never seen that movie or heard that song before! It does look terrible. 🤣 But I also kinda wanna see it now too. 😂 You know for fandom research. 🤣🤣🤣 I bet you’re absolutely right about that inspiration too. The whole Tina Turner obsession really does suddenly make sense now!
