    I'm not going to lie, and please don't take this the wrong way.

    But Ash is too weak and stupid already, and it's only chapter 1. I mean he was supposed to be ranked pretty high in the class.

    Also Cynthia is too powerful. I mean a gible as her starter, and finding a rare feebas, on her first day as a trainer. Plus being ranked number 1.

      Okay in response,

      One. Ash was middle of the road in class with his battling skills using oaks Pokémon being fairly high, however Pikachu is not one of those Pokémon. So as in canon he needs to build up a working relationship with Pikachu.

      2. Yes Cynthia's first Pokémon is Gible. That's what happened canonically. As far as Feebas, yeah it's a little bit of an asspull but I'm trying to make sure that for most of the known trainers that the Pokémon they have or capture our Pokémon that they are known to have at one point or another

      Remember this is based on the anime not the games so things like rarity are as set in stone as they would be in the games
