Man oh man, but that was just gut-wrenching! I do like that all three of them rely on each other to solve a problem and/or situation. Will we find out what happened to Korro? And McCoy made a bad judgement call in not reporting the assault to Jim, but in the end, it was Korro's choice to not seek medical attention and it was her choice to leave Starfleet--you can't force someone to get therapy they aren't ready for.
Gut-wrenching is right! I honestly had no intention of making this chapter so heavy (it started out light enough) but once it started to develop I thought it might be a good thing. After all, there's something fairly beautiful about how the boys support each other even when mistakes have been made. They learn from those mistakes together.
I wish I could say we will learn about what happens to Korro but I don't think so. In my mind, what happened to her is what could have happened to McCoy after "Mirror, Mirror". I think it was a disservice to Leonard that the aftermath of what mirror!Spock did to him was never addressed, even in a passing comment... :/ Thank god for fanfiction, though!
