Honestly, it said oldest gods. I take that collectively, and I’ve always wondered about Demeter and Aphrodite. I think that was an oversight on the author’s part.
So really in this universe for your fic, it actually ment Aphrodite in her oldest form, Hestia, Hera and Hades. So really, in less one of them had children the prophecy wouldn’t come true or the fates would have to make a child of Demeter, Poseidon or Zeus the prophecy child. But I think the accident with Aphrodite’s oldest form was a small shove from the fates.
