      Yeah, you got it. I’m probably going to keep that as the explanation here, as it gives some more weight to Fwy and Iscream’s dynamic and also explain’s Iscream’s ability to turn into biblically accurate angels, but I’ll try to not let it have much bearing on this fic.

      I’m trying to redirect this fic into focusing on Iscream AND Chee, and their dynamic together instead of just Iscream lore, so hopefully that helps a bit.

        Honestly, i feel like you can do both at once.

        He’s born in heaven at first… but then goes “nah this shit is lame” and chooses to go to hell like the punk he is. Why he did that, i don’t know. Maybe his heaven parents were really bad or mean? (Soon to become fallen angels)

          That’s what I was trying to imply with this line:

          Because yes, Iscream is a little punk, and they chose to drop to Hell after getting dissatisfied with Heaven.

              Actually, maybe he… never actually died? He misremembered what happened because his old parents… well, they became fallen angels for a REASON.

              Trauma makes you remember things incorrectly, after all.

              That would be a perfect plot twist, him venting all this to somebody in a later fic, like fwy, only for them to reveal none of that EVER happened.

              Also what if fwy was an ascended demon? (The opposite of a fallen angel?)
              It’d explain why they have an evil form

                Could you elaborate on what major problems arise by making Iscream a “posthumous soul”?

                  Eh, i respect that. Could be some other trauma though.

                  The major problem is that i think it was implied that iscream was ALWAYS a demon i think. Iirc, he was NEVER a normal living being

                    I’m not sure that was ever implied, more just deduced from their personality. But Iscream’s been around for over a thousand years at this point, there’s basically nothing mortal left within them.

                        I don’t think iscream would have even REMEMBERED being a mortal logically. Like, he’d have willingly erased those bad memories for good, provided said bad memories weren’t faked to begin with.

                        You COULD prob say the bunny they look like is just somebody else they possessed, but i don’t believe that part.

                          That’s assuming Iscream could erase those memories in the first place. To be blunt, I’m going to continue the story as is, and you can decide whether or not you want to see it through. But thank you for your input regardless!
