DELICIOUS AND EXQUISITE I love love love the character study and breakdowns. The juxtaposition of Kafka and Himeko's response at the end of the world. The poetic irony. The very descriptive and thought provoking way you write. Ugh, it just scratches the existentialist itch in me. Wonderful work!
Yes indeed!! I find the way they really counter one another such a fascinating tidbit. Himeko's such a lovely foil to Kafka that it makes it really easy to hold Kafka up against her and use her almost as an idyllic 'normal'. Himeko's reaction is arguably a lot more human, whereas Kafka has always been something of an inherent 'outsider' with the way she's literally built. Thank you for the comment!!
