  1. Oh gosh, you think the pacing is okay?? Thank you. I wasn't sure. The writing always comes in fits and bursts so I worry it's gonna be awkward sometimes.

Oh my god, thank you for catching me on that. ^^; I have to admit, unfortunately, that it was a typo on my part. Yes, it was supposed to read, "just no way". I appreciate you giving me the benefit of the doubt that it might be something more complex, but, uh, no, it wasn't. ^^;;; Dunno how I didn't catch that the 5+ times I re-read this, but that's mild dyslexia for you, I guess. Thanks very much for calling me out on it.

(Thank you! I will try to take care of myself. =])

    1. I always (or usually, anyhow) reread preceding chapters of works before I proceed to new parts, so I pretty habitually check for continuity/flow/pacing/etc. (habit I've formed in the process of working on my own fic, because, yes: continuity is vital). I think you're fine so far, but if anything did strike me as off, I'd let you know <3

Proofreading is terrible. There are always one or two typos, usually ones that spell-check cannot pick up, in any given work of mine that I don't catch until I do the posting to AO3 and read it in that format. There's something from the switch to my own composition in Times New Roman to reading in...well, whatever font this is that AO3 uses...that snaps my eye out of whatever rut it's in when I'm exhausted. And these one or two habitual typos are usually not caught by my beta, either, which makes it doubly hilarious. It's like...spell-check and both sets of human eyes fail on the same last-dreg contents. It feels like a tradition at this point.

      1. Haha at least it's not just me, then. ^^
Honestly, (as a reader) I can definitely stand a few typos here and there (I'd be rather out of luck if I couldn't), but it's only particularly annoying when the typo potentially changes the meaning of the whole sentence! (Which makes this a bad one, and I probably ought to go fix it immediately. Thanks again.)
