   I have no clue how anyone would loose a wand but it is canonical that harry saw several wands when he walked through the room of hidden things so... (shrug) I don't know.

      Yeah, it shouldn't be possible - even for a secondary wand...however, anything is possible...

      But in that case, I would gather *all students* who use family wands, and do not really react on them - go to the ROR and look for a better fitting wand^^
