I've just read the entire 4 chapters, and my God....
I already come from reading some fanfics that can be considered dark, both from Amphibia and other fandoms, but this... It feels on another level, not only Sasha ended up killing her best friend just to have the "control", but now it seems that she has completely lost her head in her ambition, and let's not talk about the family, and specially poor Sprig, who if they don't help him enough, he could end up losing his own head like Sasha is doing, and there's still a long way to go: Marcy's reaction, Andrias and The Core's whole plan, Anne's possible resurrection for still having the powers, a long etc.
This just feels on the Edgy level of things like RDR 2, The Boys and Arcane, which are the darkest content I know of and have excellent storytelling.
With only 4 chapters I'm already hooked( yes, I'm sadistic for the most part when it comes to reading or fiction xd), I already want to see how it progresses, for now I leave my kudo and comment.

Also is it really that dark? I mean, maybe I'm just sadistic or something but I assumed this was an idea that would have been created already. Whatever the case I am ecstatic that you think this is super dark.
In my opinion, Sprig and Sasha are going to be sort of the forefront of this fanfic. I've always enjoyed their moments on screen and something I've discovered the more I develop these characters is that Sprig and Sasha can relate in very similar ways - it's just that Sprig may or may not have an anchor to pull him back.

Thinking about it, I'm exaggerating, but with regard to this idea, the closest thing I remember was one where Anne accidentally kills Sasha in her fight in True Colors, but the difference is that the fic didn't take a good course (because they made them kill Marcy anyway xd), but the big difference is that Anne was really affected for having done it and regretted, but here for now not only does it seem that Sasha doesn't regret it, but now she is consumed by her ambition as if to have put on a fucking nickname.
As I said, I'm probably exaggerating since there are some that can be considered darker, such as "Pet of the Plantar Family" or "Enemies/Friends", but that's why it seems that those who wrote those two are pure edgys.
There is also the issue that I stopped looking for Amphibia fanfics almost since the series ended in 2022, and also that the vast majority of fics that followed died, I just took it back and found your fic, along with the fact that I also started publishing mine that also has its edgy side Xd.
It sounds interesting, since of the many things that were not taken advantage of much in the program was to see these two interact, who despite being in enmity and being friends with Anne, have certain similarities to certain, only that here it will not only be about interacting, they are going to kill each other to death :v
It was a pleasure, as I said, I'm curious to see how this progresses, and that it's not like my twelfth fanfic that I follow of Amphibia that remains in limbo.
