Comment on The Secrets of Martinaise

  1. Oh yeah, i very clearly remember exploring the doomed commerical area for the first time, i was expecting something scary to to happen at first because of the darkness and the music! Getting to play with the radiocomputer was very cool. The strong community in Martinaise is something i really liked in the game, and i love that you go into much more detail about it in your stories. Having people you feel comfortable with is truly something money can't buy.

Oh, i'd totally forgotten about Lilienne's husband (it's been a while since i last played the game) but that lends extra significance to her actions, so thanks for pointing that out to me.

Yeah Plaisance is definitely well-meaning, but as you say she's not doing good as a mother. It actually made me very emotional in my first playthrough when i managed to convince her not only that she'd done something wrong to Annette, but she said she would apologise to her. It's not an instant fix, but an important first step that a lot of parents wouldn't even consider doing (idk, because they think it undermines their authority or something?)

Cindy definitely comes across to me as someone who had to escape from some sort of bad family situation and has learnt to look after herself. Oh I'd love to see your take on what happens to Cuno after the end of the game! I really wanted to adopt him and Cunoesse from my first playthrough, but i have mixed feelings about him joining the RCM (maybe it's better than his current situation, but i'd like him to have other options).

I don't think i've ever tried oolong tea, thank you for the suggestion, i'll try it if i get the chance! Glad to hear things are slowly improving for you. I find writing makes me feel a little more in control in the darkest times, good to hear it helps you too!
