    I usually love the childhood friend to lovers trope except for the DCMK universe,, but also now that I think about it, it also makes sense why the childhood friend doesn’t get the love at times if being with someone is just habit and familiarity 😭

      Heiji and Kazuha make it work somehow but Shinran and Kaito/Aoko are such a trainwreck… all the secrets, lies, gaslighting, stifling her in the name of protection….at the end of the day, Conan and Kaito have more chemistry with each other because they feel like the other person is trustworthy and dependable…
