    They could go to jail. The fact is that humans have so little knowledge about monsters as they keep to themselves. They would have been able to figure it out if they put in a little though that their skulls would be fragile.

    This man was just trying to hurt them as quick as possible and once he found the crack in Alvaro’s skull that’s all he needed.

    Esmée also has a bad experience with cannibalism. She would do it as a last resort. She did it to feed herself and her brothers down in the basement of their past. Just like Blood and Sweets though. She is trying to forget and redeem herself. She also didn’t eat other people. She cannibalised herself.

        She might offhandedly say that been there done that to torture. Making the others immediately worry.

        She also might have an in-depth conversation with Blood or Sweets about what happened down there.
