    Does Cindy have spider powers or does she have a complete different one to controlling silk objects.

    Damn Peter just became the Kingpins bodyguard, hope he’s getting paid well :)

      The funny thing is, that Pete doesn't actually have spider powers. He's just kind of made a persona that is spider themed. This is because he invented web fluid which was inspired by spider silk for a science competition at oscorp. When he got his powers he decided to lean all in on the spider theming.

      Im unsure if you are here from the Spider-Man community or the Worm community, but if from the former, this is set in the world of Worm/Parahumans and Peter is part of whats called a Cluster Trigger, where he triggered around the same place and time as other people getting powers and they all share a pool of powers.

      Peter's main one is his Tinker ability that allows him to make small compact gadgets and tools. But his Mover ability to attach to surfaces, Thinker power which is his Danger Sense, and his Brute power which is the pool of strength and durability he can build up while under stress are all variations of the main powers of other people in his cluster.

      Black Cat and Silk are, as we have revealed, members of this cluster. Black Cat's main power is the mover ability, which lets her repel and attract herself to surfaces. We also see some of her Tinker abilities in the battery she made for her laser cutter, but her specialty hasn't been revealed yet. And her thinker and brute powers have not been revealed.

      Cindy's main power is the thinker ability. We haven't delved into it yet, but you can make a safe assumption that it will be a much more powerful version of Pete's danger sense.

      The last character in the cluster hasn't been revealed yet, but their power is the Brute ability, which could be a more power variant of strength.

        im assuming its flash with a brute/changer ability based on venom? and for cindys mover power, i would guess she can like tag spots to attract herself to with her hands or some other sort of 'anchoring' like that, reminiscent of her originals webs

        anyway i think the power choices weve seen so far are pretty interesting

        I can sort of see Black Cats Thinker power being a flip of Danger Sense in that it lets her know how to position herself to avoid injuries.
