    The issue with Marcille i that she's a lot easier to comprehend/harder to underesimate. Laios only really beat the Lion because the Lion is part of the DM Fandom and thought he was really stupid (still salty that that kind of thing is spread around). Marcille... probably would have to guess what the lion was going to try and tempt her with to not fall for it. Though, I guess with the world on the line she would probably be way harder to manipulate than in the much smaller stakes of "save your friends or die here".

    Marcille probably not, she IS a criminal afterall. Falin though, she's already traveling AND she's royalty!

      Worse than being seen as stupid, infantilised(both by fandom and wion). Marcille is also very very stubborn, its the one thing she and senshi has in common, mayhaps its a long-lived thing, but she sometimes fluctuated between being wibbly-wobbly with her plans and then other times having such a one-track mind you have to shock her out of it. Like some real "I'm having an episode right now help" "Is it the beach episode" type shit to get her to stop(which is pretty much what happened in her wion arc ig) Its both good and bad BUT if it kicks in at the right time wion getting no-diffed.

      Melini is truly such a scandalous Kingdom, the devourer of all horrid things as their king and who better than a black-mage criminal as his wife. Then the sister/sister-in-law is a half dragon, potentially first in the whole world. And they also all believe in freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of sex????? Peak heresy I say, tis truly a realm of infidels tsk tsk

        I think that knowing it's a world-ending entity, and especially after Laios got taken, would snap her into genius mode. it's what happened with Laios afterall. And they are so very similar in that point.

        And then they start marrying their cats (like Izutsumi) and dogs (kobolds) and even the PIGS?! (orcs)? What's next, the monsters? We need to order Exterminatius on the entire country.
