Oh man I love it when people pick up on the things I've been plotting or come to the same conclusion as me before it's even a thing ;u; <333 Its really neat that you were thinking about it! (Same person, but now I have an account so yay) ooh I'm even more excited for the coming updates now than i had been before (admittedly I had been checking back frequently in hopes of a new chapter) and oh my gosh I can't believe you were thinking it too??? Because when it crossed my mind I was like "nah maybe that's a little far fetched" but the more I thought about it the more it made sense and hell yeah I can't believe it's going to be an actual thing! (Side note: I'm a big fan of your writing style :) )
I'm glad you're checking back so frequently but just so you know I'm trying to update just about once a month (since I can't afford much more right now ;u; I have patreon projects to work on) so updates are going to happen somewhere between the 18th and the 21st of every month from now until I can actually afford to fic more ;; I'm sorry.
It's not that far fetched that he would be able to tell. I mean cats can, dogs can, some people can. It just takes time and a certain level of closeness for someone to be able to recognize 'hey this behavior is out of character for this person'.
Rereading the story (and reading the comments too), and I'm raising my hand at the "some people can". I have a sort of sixth sense for danger, and it's a proximity thing, not directional. Meaning if there's danger to someone near me - including an oncoming seizure - I know, despite the fact it won't affect me. My family knows, if I say to prepare for something, batten down the hatches. If I'm not concerned in the least, relax, the danger will miss us. My danger sense has never been wrong.
