dskfjdslkfdskl the scepter would recognize idril if and only if all of feanor's descendants, and also findis, were dead or abdicated in a way feanor would recognize. feanor isn't going to deny that fingolfin is in the line of inheritance at *all*, but he is *very low on the list* and therefore so are his descendants
