Comment on Chan's Heros

  1. Yesssssss!! The kid's like a quokka version of the Energizer bunny and Chan's like everywhere trying to keep Jisung from hurting himself or others, or you know, running head long into dangerous situations. 🤣🤣

Poor Chan sighs a lot more than he used too, I'm sure. 😅💗📝

Felix's story is definitely sad- and to share a bit more, all of their backstories have some sadness or like, 'not rightness' or something, and for reference I'm *not* using anyone's actual families for the sad parts of their backstories. I prefer to think Chan saved them from this AU's versions of entertainment companies. 🤣😉📝💗

ImaMeWriter came up with Jisung's power (❣️ props!❣️) and I totally love it! The only time I know of it happening in books/movies is in Twilight. Jasper has the ability. Though tbf, I've never read the Twilight series or seen the movies, I only know fanfiction versions of how his power works. I'm theorizing Jisung's ability is similar but I'll probably try to put some kind of twist on it so no one claims I stole the idea, lol.

And yessss!! Felix is a shape shifter!! There was only so many ways I could hint at that without outright saying it, lol, and I figured it'd be easier to pick up on, but I wasn't entirely sure, lol. Also, at this stage in my building of his ability, I don't think he can just like....change into anything, any time he wants? I think he has to see whatever it is, to change into it (so in this case, the cat blanket) and it may be stress or anxiety induced at times...? I'm still working on that, lol.

I think it works that way a lot with people who are same minded! 💗📝 ImaMeWriter and I will text each other at almost the same time or we'll be talking and say almost the same idea about something without having even mentioned it to each other. Totally in each other's heads. Lol lol. And I love that it is happening with others at times. 🤣📝💗

    1. There's probably a point after all the younger ones have been adopted where Chan doesn't remember a point where he didn't sigh so many times in a day 😂

Ah sad backstories are a classic w superheroes, I frogot the actual words but there was some quote with Achilles ab that no? I'll search another time 🤷‍♂️ I'm excited to slowly unravel the backstories!

Ah I've not watched twilight either though I want to when I have time just for the giggles.

I'm very much thinking like X men first class where Charles is Chan training then and helping them figure out their powers ?

That's such A fun way to think ab it aww 🤍skdhdhb Me and my friend have had a considerable number of interactions where we say the exact same thing at the same time I'm convinced she can just read my mind atp 🤔😂 maybe you can too, perhaps I simply have a predictable mind

      1. I wrote out a whole reply and then my phone lost it, lol. Here's take 2. 🤣📝

Yes! I highly doubt at this point, about a year-ish in and 7 dongsaengs later, that Chan even remembers a time where he didn't sigh. Every day. 36476477 times. 🤣

And yeah, I didn't intend to make all the backstories be like 'bad', because it is a bit of a trope, where all hero stories go that route? And sometimes I really dislike tropes, lol. But it just kind of happened as I built the backstories and filled out the AU and I'm ok with it now. 📝🤷🤣❣️

I can't decide if I want to try reading the actual Twilight books/watching the movies, but I do know that the one time I actually wrote vampires, they were kind of like regular people (vampire version of the FBI, even) and they definitely didn't sparkle.✨🤣

Also, yes! I think that's a really good comparison actually, Professor X and Chan, at least in the generalized idea of what they want to do for the children. ❣️📝

I'm sure your mind is not predictable. I fully believe the saying, 'great minds think alike'. ❣️📝😅
