Omg. I was *not* expecting the champion to be the former hero of Hisui. Stars that was a great twist!
To be fair, the fallen hero has every right to turn on Arceus like that I mean ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ They weren't treated well in Hisui, and even saw how the world was in the present day (likely even saw Team Galactic and their wanton destruction). Further adding to them turning to Volo's side. Also this way they get to live. And he *is* pretty cute lol!
I'm looking forward to more chapters (there's 3?) because this is a very interesting and unique AU ^^
