Comment on The Care & Feeding of Hobbits

  1. This is a perfect missing scene and moment of downtime, and the whole fellowship shines here. Gandalf's good-natured humour, Sam being literally down to earth as well, Legolas being so imperfect as to miss a shot, Merry's spiel and Aragorn's last line and especially Boromir's quiet observation of it all. Given who he is and where he's from it makes total sense that Boromir would be into geneology and family trees, and I like that this sense of interest and pride in one's heritage has formed a bridge between these very clashing cultures - even if he's as lost as I was trying to keep up with the interconnected family lines around the Shire. Your dialogue is a treat and so is your command of each character!
