Mmm... Interesting question... The process I go through to create a story, is that I must first be interested in the world I create (don't misunderstand that as not liking it, it's just that I must really like it or be interested in it). Now, with that, I have to imagine different scenarios or stories with the universe, characters or plot arcs. And, with that, think about whether I could put together another series and how to tie them together. After I have the idea, I start researching about the different worlds to compare the rules they have, powers, moments in history, personalities and create a document where I constantly update the data the more I research. And, lastly, regarding which universe to use in case in a moment I plan to create a crossover/Fanfic of that universe... I don't really have so many quick ideas to join them with Ben 10, but with the other one of FT and DBS.
I understand, I asked because both the Invincible and Ben 10 universes are some of the few big and well-developed universes outside of DC and Marvel, so I thought it would be cool if you made an Invincible fanfiction where the MC had some Ben 10 technology like for example the ascalon or the omnitrix, although I think the omnitrix itself is too strong for this world if we take into account that the alien X is in it so I thought of a nerfed version of the omnitrix so to speak, like for example an omnitrix that only allows you to transform into ultimate forms that have already appeared, which are 12, this would reduce the MC's versatility but would still give him a lot of combat power in this universe and it would be funny if the MC had this type of omnitrix he somehow had the panulcian ultimate as a pet since it is the only ultimate predator ever shown in the series
If things take a good turn and I take a very short break when the second season or third season comes out, I may bring out an alternate branch with that universe. I'm more interested now, but you'll have to wait a bit. For now, I'll have to think of a way to tie them together or take some inspiration. And, you're right, there's a lot of power on the Omnitrix side, but also in the Invincible universe. Without further ado, to wait a bit. Oh, and if you were in doubt, of course there will be supremes.
The FT and DBS one is already 77 chapters behind on the other platform, so I will be updating it more often. Now, if you're asking about Ben 10 and MHA... Well, I really couldn't give you a number.
Before, I had an update time of 2 weeks (because of school and homework), then it changed to a month (college and projects) and finally, every time I finish it... which can last between 2 to 4 months. I know, but since I've finished my studies, I work my respective hours and, when I get home, I lose inspiration or desire to write, I get distracted with something or I write little.
But, seeing your support and interest, I hope to do it at least every 2 or a month. At least I will publish 2 more chapters before the end of the year.
