    I think it's worse that movie Shadow seemed to be a real mobian, instead of a creation. After all, he wasn't made by Gerald. He hatched from a meteorite like an egg, so that means he's biological and doesn't seem to be an immortal ><

    Maybe, idk. Might actually get an explanation in the upcoming movie. But for now. Experimatation on an unwilling child is a no go. Even when Shadow was a being created by scientist, experimentation is definitely not good. He has personality. He has a sense of self. That means he is a living being 🤧

      /Exactly/. He deserves the same respect and love that Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles do. They can’t even use the “he’s an experiment!” argument because he literally /isn’t/.

      “Experimentation on an unwilling child is a no go.” You’ve got it exactly right, and I completely agree. I would like to note, however, that we never see signs of struggle or resentment from Shadow towards the scientists, and no direct signs of abuse either. The biggest issue that I have is when they sealed him away (very obviously against his will if his struggle was any indication) for all those years like he wasn’t worth anything. The only reason he’s still alive is because he was “valuable.” What they did was totally wrong, and it’s a part of the plot that makes me righteously angry whenever I think about it.

        Experimentation on any unwilling person is definitely not good, no matter their age. But yeah. I don't see any struggle from Shadow either. But rather than being cooperative, I got a feeling Shadow was like...didn't think he have a choice anyway??? Idk, when I saw Shadow in that scene where the scientist put on a bunch of wires on him before Maria took him away, his expression looked really despondent. Maybe he did try to ask for something in the early days, but because he never get what he want, he just...accept his fate

        ....everytime I remembered that scene, I feel super bad 🥲

        I hope he finally get the respect he deserved in this fanfic. Shadow definitely need more TLC TwT

          Yeah, you’re right; we don’t see a struggle buuut… you’re right how Shadow was more than willing to get away with Maria when he had the chance so he definitely didn’t want to be there. It’s probably along the lines of he really didn’t have /anywhere/ he could possible go, so what can you do? They kept him alive and no good can come of running away so he just stayed.

          Poor kiddo 100% needs some tlc, and I will do what I can to make sure he gets it😊
