Aren't these two sentences pretty contradictional? "Uli and Rusl installed another bed inside of Link's tree house, much to his dread. He didn't really want to sleep or live in the same house with the same girl that had almost permanently damaged his arm."
And it goes from that to:
"Link closed his eyes, finally being able to rest after the eventful day." That's literally a 180 degree change in Link's behavior and assessment in just a few seconds. You'd think that Link would struggle to get any sleep for very long the first night of this crap. Maybe even the first few but definitely the first night.
It is in fact a weird contradiction but, it is explained that Link before his fight was working the whole day with the fight added on top of the day, he spent a lot of energy that day. So at the end even if he didn’t want her in the house because she is dangerous. He was quite literally almost sleep walking by the end of the day, with how tired he was. And he was in fact struggling to properly sleep for the next few nights, but it was detail that I forgot to mention.
