I really like this, well done all round. The dialogue is well written and funny, the pacing is pretty good, it's overall interesting. It's just good. I do wonder what happened to that last finger. It feels like a dropped plot point where it got mentioned early on and I was surprised Yuji followed canon instead of giving it to Sukuna. And then it just doesn't get mentioned again even when I thought it might like the Sukuna revival. Less of Yuji's blood was involved in this story than I expected, like it involves master sculptor Panda and crushed rubies but not Yuki's blood kneaded in. Sukuna really did take to teaching like a fish to water glad we have the same head canon, what a jujutsu nerd. He didn't even ask for Yuji's cursed energy or fleah to power demonstrations. Also, no kiss for the blob? Outrageous.
i'm so glad you enjoyed it! i'm a little insecure about my pacing (hence the clear-cut dates LOL) so it's nice to hear it worked out here 🥹 i'd like to say that higuruma mentioned the finger is a glorifie dcursed paperweight or that yuji considers his blood a tie to his kamo heritage (and therefore tries not to think about it), but the truth of the matter is that my subconscious desperately wants to bury my blood feud with panda... 😔 don't feel too badly for the blob! he got a smooch every night before bed and then was summarily crushed or choked by yuji in his sleep.
