By the way, even if you plan on giving Steve his happy ending. How do you plan on having Bucky/Steve stay together and resume a relationship? Because while Steve's body is an adult, he's mentally 13. His mental capacity is in serious Question...Especially I'm not sure if Steve fully understands what Bucky would want to do. Did he ever get sex ed in school???
Well, in the movie, Jenna gets to go back to her 13th birthday once Matt is getting married. I don't know how or why because it's movie science. I'm only assuming that she learns from her experience and goes through her regular life differently, which leads to her and Matt getting married. This fic is going to be almost exactly like the movie, weird science and all. I'm going to elaborate more on what happened in between the time Steve/Jenna returns to the original timeline and the wedding. There's not going to be any sex in this fic, just some sexual insinuations (like when we find out Jenna is cheating with that lady's husband, Steve is going to go through a similar situation and not really understand it) and there's a scene in the movie where Jenna comes around and realizes that she's not 13 anymore, that she's not in a hallucination, and I'm sure she does some research because she's pictured reading a book on her profession, so why wouldn't she catch up on other things that happened. She probably has all the skills and practical knowledge of a 30 year old, just not the memories or the full maturity. Like I said, I will elaborate and I'm working on the second chapter now so hopefully I can help share with you what I personally believe happened in the skipped over time in the movie, just with a different character! :)
