I think I said this yesterday morning too, but I love the little changes you've made to canon and how they apply to this little universe. You make it seem so easy (I'm sure it wasn't and a lot of thought went into it lol). The John thing? Him bring Bradford's rookie? Brilliant.
I love that Jackson started Lucy's whole dilemma and Nyla was the one trying to balance it out. To me, you captured their essence perfectly, they really popped from the page. It was like I was seeing them on screen. I love that it's Genny who brings Chen back down to earth again though.
Ugh, and their date and the callbacks to previous conversations! God, I love this story. Your writing is exactly the style I like to read the most and it's really hitting a sweet spot and I don't want this fic to end lol

I really felt like once Lucy got back to LA and started telling people about Tim that everyone would start to warn her about him. When you see them separately, they don’t seem on paper to be a good match. I’m glad you felt like that was in character for them.
Genny plays a big role in this story. I wish she would more in canon. When she came back for the Valentine’s episode I thought for sure she’d be trying to talk some sense into Tim or say something to Lucy about how Tim has been working on himself. I feel like that was a missed opportunity. Sigh. But apparently they didn’t ask me. 🫤😄😂
I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. Though it does come to an end, there is a sequel series with a couple chapters. And I may come back to this universe every so often to write a new chapter or two. But you still have over 100k words to go. Haha. Enjoy! 💕🫶🏻

Yeah… long chapters are my thing. I personally love to get immersed in long stories. It’s a great escape from reality. And I totally understand being busy. I have 4 kids, and I work.
