This was a very clever way to deal with mass destruction for the sake of "cool special effects" and action scenes and how it relates to the characters. The most important component, I think was "Still, Tony being, you know, Tony Stark, had enough influence to refuse to allow them to live in any of his or SI’s properties." Which makes total sense. I liked how you followed it up with each field team leader training exclusively with their team - so it was clear in the field who was responsible for what.
Competent Tony is my catnip, along with Forceful Tony and Intelligent Tony, so writing him is a blast. I'm also a huge fan of adults actually acting like adults, which is harder to find than you'd think, which is one of the main reasons I started this fic series.
