I jumped to two other fandoms after my SPOP feelings cooled a bit and then got really sick (covid turned into long covid, which I might have to deal with forever), but I feel like I’m coming back to SPOP as I deal with scary futures involving disabilities I don’t understand, and I too remember harrowhark’s name and Scream series.
I’ve been in a lot of fandoms in my life and have read plenty of amazing fanfiction. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is exactly about your writing that makes it rise so easily above so many others, across years and fandoms, but the words/phrases of open-faced honesty and quiet ferocity come to mind. And very realistic tension. It’s so lovely. Thank you so much for writing and sharing.
