awww i didn't realize zelda and hilda were a couple X3 i love how stern and forceful yet still very caring hilda is she'll beat self love into ravio if she has too (with Zelda not far behind) the boy needs help just as much as link i also love how the people in the village address hilda as "Lady Hilda" just so much to love it's hard to love (platonically) an idiot who doesn't know the meaning of "self care" but both link and ravio will get that through their skulls eventually
They are for this story. The idea came to me and I absolutely had to write them together—I couldn't not. Anything too gentle wouldn't have worked for poor Ravio. He needs to be bossed around, just a little, right now. (and you bet she'll knock some sense and a LOT of self love into him!) The townsfolk respect Hilda just as much as they do Zelda. She may not be their princess, per se, but they know she's helped Hyrule flourish in recent times and respect her for that. They will! It may take a while and a lot of learned self-care, but they will eventually get back to a place where they love and respect themselves <3
