A Fëanorian princess-baby! I expect Arwen's family were forever finding her wrapped in crimson silk-velvet and diaphanous fire-shaded layers of tissue, the least practical baby garments ever seen, in hopes she would soon damage them and require new ones.
I suppose it makes sense that it's the mannish component of her nature that made Arwen cranky at first. But I was enjoying the idea of her feelings being like her mother's, a new facet of childcare for the books:
"If your baby is crying, she may be hungry, wet, overtired, or missing her usual planetary geometry."
