YEAH... I feel like if this were any other circumstance Taranza would actually be really proud of overcoming Death and spend, like, days bragging about it. But here he's got his hands so full that he's hardly even processed it.
...Yeah. Very apt commentary on the way he regards Nia. I don't know if I'd quite say either Joronia or Sectonia are gone- at the end of the day Nia is still technically the person who was his best friend, but she's forever been changed. Even if she's still Joronia, she'll never be the Joronia she was back then. Nothing can undo what happened to her, let alone pretending or mere wishful thinking. Ship of Theseus or whatever.
Nia is super paranoid, it's true. Girl is anxious as HELL. She doesn't have much reason NOT to believe people won't dislike her on principle.
The interaction with Kirby will be... interesting to say the least. I'm looking forward to sharing it.
