Wow, thank you so much! Especially from you, I take the feedback that I did Emison justice very seriously, so that's great to hear. I think it makes so much sense that in the aftermath of Wayne's death, Ali would have reached out and they would have reconnected, but at the same time, there was a lot in their way. I enjoyed getting to explore a more guarded side of Emily (and on the show, we so often get Ali in the context of Em, so writing the reverse was pretty interesting). They do have so much history, with can work both for and against them.
