    Okay as someone who never got past levi's attack on Brockton in canon what's this portal they're talking about

      So at the end of the fight with Noelle/Echidna, Lisa hired Faultline's Crew to create a portal to an alternate Earth. This was using a synergy between Labyrinth's power and the new recruit named Scrub, who was a fresh trigger and former Merchant before the S9 slaughtered them, that Lisa had figured out. The portal was first directed to Earth Aleph, and was used to bribe the Travellers to fight against their former friend in exchange for all of them sans Trickster (who sided with Noelle due to his obsessive love for her) being allowed to return home. The portal was afterward redirected to an empty Earth (dubbed Earth Gimel after the third letter in the Phoenecian alphabet) because after everything that had happened to Brockton Bay there were serious talks of condemning the city, and this way it provided a reason to continue to exist and be invested in.
